The first night we were in a room on the 3rd floor that was very small for the 4 of us. We didn’t have space. The second night we were moved to a bigger room on the second floor and everything was better. Also note, there are no showers in the room. You have the use the onsens

The staff was super friendly. Especially Ms Riz. She helped us out a lot and made sure we had a good stay. Also they picked us up from the train station at night, and took us back to the station the day we left. The private onsens were really nice, as well as the whole experience of staying overnight in the town. The breakfast was very good

The walls were a little thin and we could hear noises from other guests. This was not an issue as it was extremely quiet by the time we were getting ready for bed around 9:30 PM

The staff was extremely attentive to our needs. They were accommodating with our dietary preferences and even had a car bring us to the station for our train. The food was excellent. There was also English speaking staff, which made it accommodating for tourists like us. We tried all three of their private onsen baths and loved them all (especially the Kirara bath). Maya was our go-to gal and she did a superb job of bringing us our food, managing the room, and providing us information about the food whenever we were curious. An extra bonus, the toilet lights up and greets you up on entry into the bathroom, playing a nice morning tune while you use it

Great location in the heart of Kinosaki Onsen. Wonderful amenities, service and loved their private onsens. Rika took such great care of us during our stay. Love the pretty yukatas provided. It’s next door fi our favorite public Onsen and ParadI cafe around the corner we loved too

The service was the most exceptional part. Every single staff member was as accommodating as it is possible to be. The location was perfect and the food was delicious and unique. The private baths were incredibly relaxing. The room itself was perfect and I slept incredibly well every night.

Amazing food, staff, and environment! The meals they served us were one of our favorite experiences during our 3 week trip to Japan. We felt we got good exposure to traditional Japanese food and our room attendant/waitress was phenomenal. The environment was calm, clean, and very traditional.

Wish there was a child friendly menu option for the kaiseki. Another ryokan we stayed at offered a kids menu with price adjustment. The kids menu had Kara age, udon, hamburger steak, etc

Service was excellent. I liked that we could borrow boots and umbrella, especially during the snowy weather. I liked the shuttle transfer service. The food was excellent. I liked the three options of Onsen on site.

Location, amenities, and a welcoming staff and host were beyond our expectations. Our room attendant was so kind and observant of our needs. The food, lodging, and hospitality were excellent.

I would skip the meals. Fixed timetable, especially breakfast too early for us and containing a lot of raw fish. The room was facing the street and was a bit noisy.

A brilliant must stay if you are visiting Kinosaki Onsen with young children. Location is superb, close to ropeway and most main attractions and the hosts are wonderfully hospitable. The private baths are all unique and beautiful. A very enjoyable stay!

If you're from Canada/America understand that a traditional japanese breakfast is not toasts and coffee.

We wanted a traditional japanese experience in a Ryokan and it's what we got and more. I can't praise this place highly enough. Staff was wonderful you get a personal staff member catering to your need it's really something. I felt like a Daimyo
