Nice staff. The hotel is well decorated and the facilities are quite comprehensive. Impressive to provide welcome drink and supper ramen/ desert. The onsen is good and let me relax after sightseeing in Takayama downtown. The room space is big and I feel very comfortable to stay. Although the hotel is not located near the downtown, it provides the shuttle bus to pick up me between the hotel and the downtown, which is acceptable.

Generally, all were good, a little change to the daily breakfast menu would be better.

Room was big enough for 3 persons, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet style. In the evening free ramen or ice cream and beer or soda drink. Lots of car parking lots.

Be careful the Toilet step in/out difference, and my room located was the front entrance closed to the upstairs, ice making machine, and the sound proof was not good

No lift to 1st floor, staff help us to bring luggage up STEP at bathroom, got trip once. Not safe for older folks .

Teeny tiny rooms and no elevator to take your luggage up to room. Mega hard bed- all a bit too much for a travelling weary body.

The location on the outskirts kinda limits the possibility to stay in the city and experience night life, maybe some night shuttlebus around 12pm could be useful?

Great hotel on the outskirts of Takayama. Staff was very friendly and helpful to us, even though many other guests were quite rude and annoying... Rooms were clean and comfortable but a bit too small, nearly no space for our luggage (we've put it below our bed). Shuttle service is free and is right across the street when you go out of Takayama Station.

The breakfast room was small and felt cramped. Also food was not the best for onsen.

The Shuttle service was very convenient, on-site onsen was great and all the staffs were very helpful and friendly.

We had to take a 15-minute shuttle bus to and from town, but even so, it wasn’t that inconvenient. Had to pay for breakfast. Onsen wasn’t that nice, small and only inside.

Our room was next to a stream. They offered free ice cream or small bowl of ramen at night.

The hotel has several tour groups during our stays made it so busy both in the evening and morning. Quite far from the town.

Very good breakfast both variety and taste. The room is clean but very small. Nice onsen. Good communication with the hotel, we got the room we requested on the 1st floor.

Nothing much to be honest, but do note there's no restaurant or food options in the hotel, so you will have to rely solely on family mart. Can't settle lunch/ dinner at the hotel even if you don't feel like heading out

The staff were warm and helpful. Even before the trip, they were responsive to all my questions and went out of the way to provide more information. We enjoyed the free ramen, and although it was far from town, the free shuttle bus made it quite convenient. And it helps to have a family mart right beside the hotel for late night supper. The baggage drop off service near to both the bus terminal and train station made it convenient for us to explore Takayama immediately without having to check-in to the hotel first.

No restaurant but A Family Mart over the road and microwave etc in the hotel. It was chucking it down so going into town wasn't really an option

We wanted a hotel with parking and allowing a quick get away into the mountains. This was perfect. They provide shuttle buses, cheap parking in town and a really efficient breakfast process. Only 1 night but we loved it. Didn't have time to use the baths. Staff were super helpful when we realised the down pillows were triggering my wife's asthma. They do have non allergenic so ensure you ask for them. Thanks for a super visit

Rooms were quite small for me.

Staffs speak english very well. Thier sevice was great also. The hotel has 2 parking area in front and behind to supports a lot of cars. They also have an onsen inside the hotel too.

The room was cramped and it took us awhile to figure out that there was storage space under the beds.

We enjoyed the free ramen/ice cream gathering in the evening. Also the laundry facilities. We forgot our suitcase outside the back door of the hotel the day we left. My husband (who is Japanese) telephoned the hotel that evening and explained the problem in Japanese. He asked the employee to send the suitcase to our home address In Japan COD. The suitcase arrived the next day. We appreciate the prompt action of the employee, who was a non-native speaker of Japanese. Good work!

The hotel was 9 minutes by car and too far to walk to from the station. But the hotel does offer a free shuttle that takes you to and from the station. This was very helpful to use when you want to go into town to explore but away from the city life at the end of the night. Their lobby was cute, and it had a nice Japanese inn atmosphere. Staff was nice and helpful.

We had two single beds, which was weird since we're a couple. We just pushed them together. The location is quite far from central Takayama, but they have a complimentary shuttle, which is great. Otherwise, you can take a taxi, but they're expensive in Japan. No ride-share options.

Our room faced the river, which was lovely. The staff was great. Breakfast was very good. The onsen is amazing, also with river views. They also had complimentary drinks during a Happy Hour, and a small bowl of ramen or ice cream also offered.
