The breakfast was an extensive buffet of local food items. However, vegetarians didn't have too many options.

Very small room but we expected it. No smoking area but there is one close by at the station.

2 minutes walk from the train and bus station. 15 minutes walk from the busy area with food and drinks Spotless. Good bathroom. Friendly staff.

For car parking: While booking it shows the P icon for parking but the hotel does not have its own parking. You need to park in a coin parking or park at the affiliated car parking by paying 1000/- yen and that too if empty slot available. If not available then you have to search on your own. It will be helpful if this is clearly mentioned in the fine print or details. For breakfast: No eggs and only one fruit.

Breakfast was good. Mainly Japanese and had cornflakes, bread, milk, curd but no eggs and only one fruit.

Very close to Utsunomiya station & the hotel attached to 7-11. Staff super firendly. Arrive before check in time So they keep my luggage. Whem i come for check in they already put mu bag in the room.

The staff at the Smile were very accommodating and helpful, permitting us to store luggage beforehand and taking it to our room before we returned. The room was extremely clean. The bed was firm and comfortable. Although it is beside the train tracks, we found it quite quiet. A real advantage of the hotel is its location, 5 minutes from the train and the city bus that goes to the Oya Museum and the OyaTemple beside it. (Both recommended.) There is also a 7-11 attached to the hotel lobby.

There is not much I can think about. The room is rather small, sinc it's a classic "business hotel", but when staying at a single, one gets whatever s/he needs.

This was the second time that I stayed at this hotel. It's right next to the station and also connected directly to a convenience store (you can go there in slippers). I liked the new style, being able to borrow adapters for el. plug and overall getting what I expected. Not having to use card when using the elevator makes the stay more comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, offering both western and Japanese food.

The bathtub wall was high for me, so it was a little hard to get out of. Also, it would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.

Clean, quiet, new towels every day, good amenities, and the female staff were really friendly.

The pillows were hard.

Location was perfect. After arriving on one train, we were able to drop our luggage at the hotel and return to the station in time for another train 16 minutes later. The room was snug, but clean and comfortable.

On arrival,though it was so close to the station,we couldn't see the hotel and eventually found the entrance through the back door of the adjacent 7/11 ! Would suggest the Smile might like to add some English script at the top of the building !!

We generally choose hotels close to transport hubs,so this one is only 2 minutes away. Room was fine,staff cheerful and helpful.
