I cannot eat gluten. Thankfully, everything containing gluten was marked. But during dinner my options were quite limited, out of a very rich, varied buffe. I would appreciate some more options, especially basics such as a single soup that's GF, or one sauce at least. Cooked vegetables were mostly prohibited, and those can easily be made GF.

It's beautiful, located very well for Shiretoko touring, very nice large comfortable room, with a large window. The meals are extremely varied and good.

Very spacious rooms and the onsens were great - large capacity, modern looking and kept super clean. The staff was also incredibly polite - they would greet you as you came in and left and with a smile. There’s also a lounge with free drinks and some treats for the guests. My husband and I had a great stay and I miss it already lol

Excellent buffet, good quality of food, spacious twin room. You can enjoy beer, both red and white wines. The special silky coffee is wonderful.

The interior design in the lobby and in our room was beautiful, contemporary, and relaxing. We found the quality of the buffet meals to be excellent, and we appreciated the snack area in the lobby. Also, the staff members were very polite and kind.

As a person with celiac, I could not eat 98% of the food. You can definitely provide more options for people with gluten allergies. I had the same dinner and breakfast 3 days in a row! Also the food on the buffet was the same all 3 days. You can change out food options on a daily basis.

Very difficult to find eatery around the area. Have to go out of the area to look for food. The curtains can be improved to block the sun rise at 3-4 am.

The lounge and the breakfast. Free beer, coffee and beverages at the lounge. We can sit and relax ourselves at the lounge with beer or coffee. Breakfast was awesome. Lots of variety of Japanese food. Couldn't have asked for more.

The bathroom was surprisingly cramped with no space for our toiletries. It also had narrow steps leading in to it.

The staff is not well prepared for foreigns yet. We had trouble to get instructions on how to arrive at hotel with public transportation. It was also difficult to understand options for hikes and tours available as well as to organize takyubin. I think they are not used to have that many visitors from outside Japan. Nevertheless, we could notice they were all trying their best to help us.

This hotel is wonderful. On top of a Hill, with beautiful view to Utoro City. There's a large lobby with snacks, tea, coffee so after returning from a day excursion, we always spent 30min relaxing at lobby. There's a nice shop with many souvenirs. Onsen was amazing and clean. Many different tubs with different temperatures. Ice cream and pocari sweat available. We didn't have breakfast included but we pay extra for a day and the buffet was simply delicious. Many options and everything we tried was excellent.

Another amazing stay in hokkaido. A bit of a long drive but we enjoyed our scenic drive. Amazing resort with great amenities choices, comfortable beds, great onsen. Definitely makes it hard to leave. Easy check in and check out services and parking available

I found the quilt a little too warm for my liking.

This hotel has thought of everything... from the welcome and expert check in, to waving us goodbye when we drove away at the end of our stay. The public bath set up is amazing and being allowed to go in when it's closed to take photos at 9.30-10am was much appreciated. We enjoyed our expansive mountain and sea views from our room. Meals were tasty and there were many options to choose from. We also enjoyed watching the promotions of the Shiretoko attractions in the comfort of the lounge chairs.

Modern, clean and not overly crowded and very good breakfast and good quality scrumptious buffet style dinner with free flow of alcoholic and non alcohol drinks for dinner only. The indoor bath is also very clean and good with free ice lollies to enjoy after. At the lobby lounge area, there is a huge theatre screen to watch playback of Shiretoko Nature, display of books items for browsing and a section offering free coffee, drinks, sweets and snacks. Room is big and brightly lit , have separate bath, sink and toilet areas. We have a Seaview room with very comfortable twin beds.

The food wasn't really on par with comparable options that provide breakfast and dinner in Japan. I was especially disappointed that the sushi didn't taste fresh when the hotel is in a fishing area with lots of fresh seafood. I would definitely book again but probably skip paying for meals next time.

The onsens were amazing and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had good views. The staff were super friendly and helpful as well.

The dryers are very weak and slow if you want to do laundry here it might take a long time.

Beautiful hotel, the buffet was really nice, marked with allergens which is great for me as someone with multiple food allergies and celiac. The room we got was really spacious. The surroundings are beautiful, there is a 7-11 in Utoro which is convenient, but you are also so close to the park and anything going out of Utoro (boat tours). The staff were very polite and helpful. Also nice to have laundry. The common areas and free amenities were also very nice and relaxing. Really enjoyed it.
