The rooms were lovely and big, and we had a view over the trees and snow, breakfast was really good and staff super helpful.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The room was amazing, well presented, comfortable and a short walk to the ski lifts. Breakfast was different every day and so tasty and filling.

I knew the property was currently being renovated but I was disappointed that the onsen was not available. Paying a full peak season price probably influenced that comment. I will add, I was notified prior to arrival that it may not be ready.

Recently refurbished rooms were lovely. Staff were awesome, especially Ritsuko who was always available and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We were the only guests most of our stay so the shared shower facility wasn’t a problem. Might be a bit busy when all rooms are open. Rooms are huge. Well appointed, with attention the detail. We stayed in a Japanese style room as well as a western queen room. Both were great. 5 min walk to the Onsen lift, shuttle bus and village.

We really enjoyed our stay at Seifuso, recently renovated from what was a traditional japanese place to have some more modern features. The room was so big with a toilet and sink, and communal shower. Japanese lady called Ritsuko who cooked you breakfast every morning was so lovely and kind and took us to the train station. Tim who managed the place was awesome, helped with anything we needed and gave us good recommendations around town. we’d definitely stay again next time we come to myoko!

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to go home. 🙈

I absolutely loved getting to know the host and staff during my stay. Grateful for Michael, Ritsuko and Tim who went out of their way to take care of my needs and had a genuine interest in making sure guests felt at home. I cannot say enough good things about the renovation design and smooth operation even though it's their first season running the show after two years of remodelling after acquisition. Loved the proximity to the slopes but still tucked away from the main street, giving it a quaint and secluded atmosphere while offering the convenience to access the shops, nearby onsens and restaurants just a 5 minute walk away. My stay was incredibly cozy where my room had water and sencha included, a kettle to boil water, fridge and microwave if needed plus plenty of space for storage. The interiors were aesthetically pleasing with comfy cushions and spots to lounge after a day of skiing and socialise with others you meet around the lodge. Showers were also decent, good pressure and heat plus no need to worry about bringing showering liquids nor towels with you either. Breakfast was also lovely with warm, freshly made french toast on some days, and usually eggs, sausages and hash browns plus muesli, cereal, milk, orange juice and tea/coffee you can help yourself to, typical of a continental breakfast.
