How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It's name is only written in japanese, so I couldn't find it easily. Also same problem with the Parking. I went to the wrong parking spaces at first try, because the hotel name was only in japanese

The breakfast had very limited options for people that were vegetarian/vegan, though I am aware that the hotel seems catered more for Japanese guests rather than international tourists or business-people. The staff on the main desk were helpful but none had conversational English to help with queries, relying on a translation device.
Staff were helpful, the room had everything that I needed, a nice small bath and shower (wet room). Wifi was good.

Rooms look worn and there were thick dusts in some corners.
Good location, coffee pod machine provided in room, did not expect a smart tv so that was a pleasant surprise!

Hotel was in a good location and close to Nagasaki station and port. The room was clean and spacious for one person. Staff were friendly as well.

Room note that large, but ok for Japan standard.
Location is close to harbour and main nightlife spots. Buses to Museum and shrines within 20m. Staff Is friendly. Beds are comfortable.

breakfast was very good. I remembered breakfast included but staff said not-including at that time no evidence to insist . After paying the price , got the voucher. The confirm number has no mention about breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good and make me satisfied . So I resolved from next travel I should keep detail reserving copy of Booking.com.

Nothing - everything was very good
Took a trip to the Bio Park and the front desk staff were super helpful mapping our bus route. The breakfast was nice and lots of Japanese choices. They accommodated our rooms to be close and ensured the right room type for my sons.

I had a problem with my sink and wasn't able to use the sink stopper but the reception staff tried to fix it and were apologetic that it wasn't working well. But aside from that I highly recommend this hotel!
The room I got had a beautiful view of the main street with the mountains as the backdrop. The bathroom was decent size and I loved the little bath fizzers they gave every morning during cleaning. The hotel also provided plenty of toiletries that you can obtain at reception and gave a fresh bottle of water every day. It also was about a 10min walk from the JR station and was a 2min walk from the streetcar. Loved staying here!

The room doesn't have sockets for 3-pin plugs. You can buy adaptors for 2500 JPY at front desk. Some big hotels in Japan do have sockets in the rooms for 3-pin plugs for laptops etc. Perhaps the hotel can consider renting it for 100 JPY for a night? Otherwise it's just waste of money and creating unnecessary waste.

No complaints. Room slightly small and not much hanging space.
Easy walk from train station and trams right along that street. We had views to the harbour. Help yourself table with excellent coffee, tea, toiletries ....Very secure.

There were free coffee bags along with cream powder and sugar. This is not common in a Japanese hotel so it was a very pleasant surprise. Also the reception clerk recommended an excellent place to go to for dinner.
