Although the property feels like it needs some updating, the price reflects that. It feels like it would have been an incredible hotel 5 or 10 years ago and if you are ok with things being a little rough around the edges, you can experience things like the personal outside bath (in a mountainside jungle no less!) for the kind of price that'd get you a fairly mundane hotel elsewhere. I certainly value this kind of adventure more than a simple business hotel, given they are similar in price!

There's no escaping that it feels a little dated. The Air Conditioners need some renovation or servicing and the outside decking is showing its age. Also, be prepared to clear out some insects from the outside area! I still think its more than fair for the price even if you factor this in.
