United StatesHowever the hotel was a bit worn around the edges and there was not many restaurants nearby. Many were a 15 minute or so walk. If you have a car, there is a good sized parking lot and so this is less of an issue.
We liked this hotel because it was close to the train station, allowing for day trips around the region; more spacious than most Japanese business hotels; had a good breakfast including croissants; had an onsen; and the staff was friendly.

SingaporeIt is quite evident that the rooms are quite dated. There weren't sufficient USB ports except for one at the bed head.
Location - it was right in front of the train station, 3 minutes walk. I wanted access to Noribetsu Jigokudani, so this is a good choice to stay so that I can make a day trip to Noribetsu station and catch the local bus into the valley. If you have all the timing right, it will be a breeze. All this at an affordable price for accommodation. The included breakfast was also a feast, the western-Japanese servings of fried food were good, but the fires were soft for putting out too long. There is also a welcome soda or alcohol for guest. Bonus if you like ramen, go look for the 2 stores behind the train station, hotel-side. The best of the 2 I've had so far.

HungaryFree stay for a young child, free parking, free breakfast, cotton room wear, onsen on the 12nd floor. The room is bright, clean, silent, dark at night, with AC and all you need. There is no smoke odor. The bed is very comfortable. Kids get a gift bag. The staff was welcoming us warmly. Breakfast is a usual Japanese style menu, as people eat at home. I warmly recommend it!
