No issues with the hotel. The location wasn't ideal for what we were doing, but there wasn't anything in our price range near Koyasan, so it was a good compromise.

Simple room, good price, easy check-in. It was basic and met our needs for our 1 night stop over.

The hotel is around 18 min walk to kii shimizu station. I like the early breakfast buffet (start from 6.45am) which enables me to start my hiking earlier. The menu is different everyday during my 6-day stay. Great teabag and coffee making machine at the lobby. Convenient 24 hour reception desk and nice Onsen bath. I especially love the body shower available in my room which smells super good!! Lastly please try the tsukemen ramen nearby which is really awesome and relatively cheap.

The fact there are smoking room areas. You can still smell it in the corridor despite the double doors. The breakfast didn't have any kind of cereal option.

Was really pleased with this hotel. Easy walking distance to a station going to/from koyasan. My single room was bigger than expected with a bigger bed than expected. Didn't realise it had a public bath until I arrived but really enjoyed that. Had a brilliant ramen restaurant within easy walking distance. There is also a bus service to Hashimoto station within a short walk.

Desipte there's hardly to find a place closer to the train station, but 1.2 km both way in 30 mins with luggage to catch the train was quite challenging. Otherwise, just add another half an hour to your schedule 😅

The receptionists are foreigner friendly, their english was quite good. I have no struggle comminicate with them (use translator for complex cases).
