How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewEverything was really nice. Everything was super clean, and they provided clean towels and personal hygiene items every day. The beds were comfortable and spacious.
The stay was very comfortable and the staff were kind and helpful. My only suggestion is to remind guests about quiet hours, as each night someone was packing very late, around 1 am. Otherwise, everything was great and I would recommend this hotel

Verified reviewExcellent value and an amazing, comfortable stay. Facilities were great, with very well maintained and clean beds + toilets. I liked that I was able to store my luggage under my bed. Convenient location, with a direct line to Narita airport and walking distance to the metro. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The (dimmer) lights in my pod stopped working and the locker was spoilt. Air-con temperature within the pod could be colder.

I don't know what it was, but during my first night here, my neck hurt a LOT after I woke up. Like, if you are staying here, it would be to your greatest interest to bring your own pillows.

Verified reviewHonestly I don’t even know where to start. I been to 40 countries in my life, I’m still young (21 years), and therefore I been at many hostels in my life (probably around 40 since I mostly travel solo). And this is honestly the best hostel I ever been to. I stayed here for 9 nights and honestly wish I spent some extra nights here. For a woman especially this is perfect. They provide with spacious makeup room that has everything you need! Facials, makeup remover, makeup pads, hair curler/straightener and a lot more! The room itself is spacious, I was able to fit my 2 luggages under the bed which is perfect, and the bed was very comfortable as well. I didn’t feel trapped which I feel like sometimes at other hostels. They also have a very good common area in the second floor which I loved! They also had some games like monopoly that I played with my friend there. The staff is also wonderful and helped me with everything needed. Location is also 10/10. If I could I would honestly write a whole A4 page of how good this place is. I will definitely come back here another time!

Location near a tourist destination, the majority is foreigners, a bit loud. Slightly pricey for a capsule hotel, only had one tie lock for luggage storage.

The small of the soaps in the showers wasnt good to say the least so maybe they should consider replacing those, and the staff was very strict with the check out time - not allowing even one extra hour even though there was no one checking in after me and they were far from being fully booked. they could easily have allowed me to check out at 11 instead of 10 but chose to refuse and only allow that for a fee. My first time encountering something like that in all of my travels

Verified reviewAfter two nights, I have decide to extended one more night in this nice same place! It was a great experience in this nice place...like to be in an hotel! It's located in Asakusa, one of most popular place in Tokyo and with the excellent trains it's very simple to arrive from the airport of Narita or Haneda. Train and metro station are also very near to the Resol Poshtel and it's easy to moving around the city. The room it's very cleaning, silent and spacious, there is much space for place your luggage under the bed and there is also a small safe box near the bed. The big bathrooms are always very cleaning like also the shower and every day you have at disposal new towels, slippers and toothbrush! All the staff of the reception it's very kindly and available for have many information, at my arrival they gave me a nice origami and a small packet of peanuts. Congratulations and thanks very much, absolutely I want to return of a future trip in Tokyo and I advise to all this place!
