ThailandIt's at the top of the hill so was a bit of a hike up but that was okay. I was also hoping for Japanese style evening meal and breakfast but it was Japanese western and I didn't like it at all so that was a shame.
Gorgeous room and view, fantastic onsen - the hotel is stunning.

ChinaThe location. You need to walk through the plum garden if you take local transportation. While I would be very happy to do so in the morning, without luggage, I became quite nervous and felt reluctant to do so at night. Even though I feel confident about japan's social security it was disturbing for single woman to go through an ill-lit park. Also the slope was steep and even though the nearest bus stop is only 800 meters away it made me exhausted to carry my luggage up. Shuttle bus is available though, but there is time limits so if you want to stay here make good plans and avoid coming back after sunset.
The hotel itself is lovely, and it is in a quiet neighbourhood. Onsen is relaxing, and the room is spacious. Staff are friendly, and have tried their best to accommodate guests.

SingaporeThe check in/out system is contactless, however I didn't like the fact that I had to key in my card details manually, which kind of slows down the process and defeats the purpose. Maybe have a POS machine at the check in/out kiosk so guests could just scan their cards for payment. I also don't like that I had to book my meal timings in advance, while I was on the go during the day. I'm here on vacation, to relax and enjoy, so I really don't want to be stressing about all this. I was kind of disappointing that the property didn't provide Japanese meals. Some of the public baths facilities are separated. For example: saunas in male, while bedrock bath in female. Female side has facial steamer, while male side don't. I'm a male, but I would like to enjoy bedrock bath and facial steamer too.
The property is tucked away in a quiet hilly neighbourhood. Very calming atmosphere throughout the property. Very spacious and comfortable room. very clean and spacious layout of the public bath area, and they even provide complimentary cold drink as well which was refreshing after the onsen. The food provided were excellent, especially the steak.

JapanThe reception guy who is a bit aged is rude and in a rush, may be he is overqualified for the job and should be assigned to something more challenging. Because clearly he looks frustrated and angry at the customers. He was rude to reply when asked about a doubt and ran inside as soon as he finished his answer. He very rudely told us that we cannot change our rooms as nothing is available and when we showed him the availability on booking.com he said he does not get information from foreign websites, and continued with his rude behavior.
The facility itself is amazing, having stayed in more than 50 hotels all over Japan, the quality and comfort offered by this hotel is second to none. Right from checkin process, to check out it is flawless. The checkin is self and they have English option in the tablet as well. They have table tennis, a top class onsen, more than relaxing massage chairs and 5 star level breakfast. The view from room is amazing and there is absolutely no scope left in quality and luxuriousness of the amenities provided especially at this price.

New ZealandIt would be nice if they could provide more options so that the breakfast isn't the same everyday. The aircon was leaking a little bit but we told the front desk so hopefully it should be fixed now.
The room had amazing views and was much more spacious than I expected. The onsen had everything I wanted plus more! I liked that there was tea and even a face steamer. I've never been to an onsen where there was a hairdryer, straightener and hair curler. The breakfast was nice and filling.

SwitzerlandThey advertise the new rooms in the new building, if you end up getting an old room in the old building, the name is program. The rooms are very much rundown in every aspect! the bedding is stained, loght switches fall appart, ghe carpet has countless stains everywhere, the wood and tatami floors look stained and dirty, the insect screen door on the balcony dissintegrates when trying to operate it, there are numerous stains all over the walls everywhere. Standard facilities like coin laundry are not available and also there is no ensuite bathroom… All in all substantially subpar value for money! on the pictures it looks like an upper middleclass hotel, as soon as you leave the lobby area, this image fades very quickly. Also the information provided by them on booking.com after booking, is missleading and incomplete.. And finally the place is such a hassle getting to, that I ended up getting a taxi, which just added to the cost of the quite unpleasant stay. And even if the restaurant is still open and half empty, they won‘t serve you anything if you don‘t have a reservation!…
The Hotel advertises new rooms which are inthe new building, they are probably nice. The onsen looked nice on the pictures as well, I still ended up not going..

The hotel features to have a hot spring and public bath but it was just one indoors public bath with probably water from a hot spring. Those looking for an actual hot spring experience shouldn’t go there. The only nice thing was the dinner and breakfast. For us it was a complete waste of money.
