Very friendly staff and wonderfully exotic food for a foreigner. First time using a onsen and it was a relaxing experience. Was able to see Mount Fuji from my window in the morning!

We have stayed at many ryokans across Japan and Jinde is now one of our most favourite. We stayed during winter and everything was absolutely perfect. The Staff, food and hot spring baths were all exceptional. Note that the staff do not really speak much English and knowing a little bit of basic Japanese will help, but they will make every effort to accommodate you regardless. The best way is to arrive by car (we had a rental car) and they have plenty of parking space available which is easily accessible. You'll immediately be greeted with an amazing view of Mount Fuji right from the parking lot. I would happily recommend this Ryokan to anyone.

    Nothing. Everything was PERFECT.

A great place to stay for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Great hot springs, convenient location near a bus stop, great walks along the coast.

    Nothing. Everything was good.

Very traditional ryokan managed my an old lady. Very nice and good attention to details. Come on time they are not open before. The onsen are on first arrived first serve basic. They have 3 onsens. One natural outside. 2 more in out with view. Oh my the food ! She kept bringing more and more wonderful food. 3 fresh sashimi fish, broth to cook, a trillion of small dishes. Mostly sea theme and so fresh. Wonderful. Just for the restaurant you shall go there. And the plume wine is a pleasant experience. Very good money / value.

The ryokan has hours. You are dining at that time. Then breaky that time. Then vacate your room from 11 for clean up. A bit strict, however, that is the case in most ryokan. I found a hair in the outside onsen. The previous user was not careful because the ryokan was clean. I did not like the narrow roads in front of the property. The ryokan warned me about them. Still, you are tense when you drive the last 2 minutes.

Charming traditional Japanese Inn, the owner managed to keep the place well. We were given a special room with attached onsen.

This place exceeded my expectations! All hot spring baths are private, which is perfect. We had no problems reserving them whenever we wanted. The dinner and breakfast were not just food but a whole cultural experience. The staff was so sweet and did their best to communicate with us. We even got to see Mt. Fuji near the hotel, which was a pleasant surprise. The sea is also very close to the place. I would love to return someday!

This place is a must stay if you are in the area. The owner was a sweet older woman who did not speak much English, but did her best and we were able to understand the important things. She told us what time dinner and breakfast would be, explained how to reserve the onsen, and showed us to our room. Our room was located at the end of the hallway and had a private onsen patio. It was gorgeous! The room is very traditional with an entryway, and bathroom off to the side. Open the sliding door and you are in a beautiful tatami room with room for futons and a small table, as well as space for your luggage. On the table there were small snacks and an electric kettle with hot water already prepared and ready to make tea. The futons were already laid out, and were extremely comfortable. The room had a heater that you could adjust to your liking. Past the tatami there was another small table with two chairs, a drying rack, and a sink. The attached onsen on the patio was covered and shaded. There were plants to help provide privacy, but you could see the skyline peaking above the fence. The owner called us at 8 for dinner. We went in the provided yukatas, which were very comfortable, and had an amazing dinner. There were over 12 individual small plates of fresh food, and she kept bringing more as dinner went on. There was shabu shabu, sashimi, grilled fish, soup, and some other things that I did not know the names of, but it was all delicious. We then took a bath in the private onsen in the other building. You go outside, and into a building next door. Be careful of the stairs, they are a little steep. The onsen itself is small, but fits the two of us very comfortably. The tub is a metal oval tub with onsen water flowing into it constantly. The water was at a perfect temperature, and since it was outside, the breeze kept the room not too steamy. The next day we stayed for the 8 AM breakfast, which was another amazing meal consisting of many small dishes.
