The bathroom in our room smelled a little funny, so we left the ventilation fan on most of the time.

Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist with my luggage shipment. The onsen facilities were large and clean. We also enjoyed the free donuts and beverages in the lobby area.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything exceeded my expectations.

The decor, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere were amazing. The staff were welcoming and the amenities were top-tier. Both the indoor and outdoor onsens were incredibly relaxing, and my room had a stunning view of Mount Fuji. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options.

The buffet in the morning is poor selection and taste horrible. They serve the same thing everyday.

I booked the biggest room at about $1200/night SGD. It is all worth it! Read a lot about the smaller rooms were too old and outdated. But mine was perfect!

Excellent staff, beautiful traditional room with the mt. Fuji view, amazing experience in onsen which was tattoo friendly! I had never been treated by the staff with such a dedication. There is a free shuffle van to Kawaguchiko station. And we got a post card at the end of the stay!

Bathroom was bit outdated.

Amazing for traditional Japanese experience. They offer pick up and drop off from the station, which is super convenient and takes 5 mins by car (however the city is small enough that you can reach the centre in 15-20 mins). The service was top notch and staff very accommodating. Loved both onsens, especially the outdoors one - it was raining the second day of my stay and being in the hot onsen in cold morning rain was an unforgettable memory. They accept tattoos in the onsen! It was not crowded. I got the room with Mt Fuji view and seeing it from my window was great. The breakfast buffet was massive and the food delicious. Loved the stay and would love to return.

This was my second stay at Oike Hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint. The service was top-notch and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We especially loved the onsen — the outdoor bath was a standout, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. Overall, a fantastic experience. We absolutely loved our stay and would return without hesitation.

Absolutely love this hotel. We could see Mt Fuji from our room. The staff is very professional and helpful. 10/10 The lounge is incredible. The onsen was fantastic. The kids room was my children’s highlight. And the facilities were great.

The room and view of Fuji was honestly out of this world. Were were so lucky to have clear amazing view of fuji from our private bath and room on our stay. Sadly fuji is shy so she was hiding when we woke up. We only had a 1 night stay I wish it was longer. Great location for exploring the area and the view if fuji is worth it!

Traditional futon was a little firm at first, but figured out how to make it more comfortable. Not many dining options in the immediate area, but some within walkable distance and many more a short cab ride away.

We booked a traditional Japanese room with Fuji view. The traditional room was clean, comfortable and a lot of fun to experience. Mt Fuji appeared in our window on our first morning and was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful in arranging taxis and dinner reservations. Other than the traditional room, the hotel seemed a bit basic, but the Mt Fuji view and wonderful staff made it a wonderful experience.

Perhaps the cost, but you pay what you get

As described, very spacious and luxurious. Room was well cleaned, well maintained (dated interior, but it is ok), and facilities such as private onsen pool were in working order. Lastly, the fantastic view of Mt Fuji was worth it and an experience by itself.
