Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

KazakhstanThere's a damp smell in the bathroom.
Access to the guest floors requires a key card, which provides an added layer of security. The hotel is located very close to the main Nagoya Station, which is perfect for traveling to other cities in Japan. There's a rooftop lounge where you can relax, use the internet, or eat. A 7/11 convenience store is also right next to the hotel. The capsules are comfortable, and the hotel staff cleans them daily.

SpainWhen you pull down the curtain on the actual capsule, it gets very hot during summer. Since the air doesn't pass through the curtain, it feels stuffy and starts to smell a little dusty.
the place felt very clean and safe it was very comfortable for a capsule hotel. the location is amazing.

Germany- Though I generally like the minimalistic approach to interior design, sometimes I was missing decorations, especially plants. I think the inside looked too bare. Just put in like 3 or 4 plants and it will look more lively
- I loved the lounge at floor 10. The city vibes up there were awesome and I was able to use it as a great working space -

IrelandCheck-in is at 3pm and don't you dare arrive at 2:50pm expecting to check-in. A little more chill needed here. Travelling from the 7th floor pods to the 2nd floor showers and lockers was a bit of a pain.
Great location fifteen minutes' walk from the central station. Clean and quiet. Decent price. I did like the supply of a new pair of pj's and a towel every day.

United KingdomPillow was alright i guess, it was a bit hard and not the most comfortable. The key to your locker is just a paper card so not too convenient. Breakfast only started at 9 and it was just banana bread with coffee. The guy underneath me was extremely gassy and it had even woke me up.
The pinnacle and upmost highlight of this once in a lifetime oppurtunity would perchance be that I could experience and fufill my ambition to stay at this very unique hotel. It is with great sincerety that I can express my enjoyment of your hotel. The capsule was just simply wonderous to see and the ability to be in this capsule and have my own stay here was absolutely rewarding. Pajamas, towels, slippers provided, what more could you ask for.

United StatesThere was camera in the room. No privacy. There was no kitchen. Everyone have to leave the room from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m., due to cleaning. It was inconvenience.
Close to shops and restaurants. There was metro station but a bit of walk if you have to carry lots of things.

AustraliaYou have to go to the second floor to use the lockers and take off your shoes which is kind of easy to forget to do. I feel like it makes more sense to have an area on the ground floor so that you are forced to walk through it and then you’ll remember to take off your shoes before going all the way up to your floor like we kept doing. My bed also didn’t have a charging point and some dude snores the whole night making it a bit of a rough night for us but that isn’t really the accommodations fault so can’t really blame them for that part.
Was nice and clean, the staff let us leave our bags at reception a few hours before check in.

NorwayI unfortunately had an unexpected medical issue during my stay. The staff were not very helpful. I had a bleeding from my neck which I couldn't stop. The staff didn't help me and I ended up sleeping with a towel wrapped around my neck, bleeding out for hours. I understand that its a rare circumstance but I wish they were trained for situations like these. I felt unsafe as no one could help me and I’m not familiar enough with the country to know what to do in these situations. I asked the staff for help my multiple times. They gave me a bandage, which didn't really help as I was bleeding too much. One time when I asked a staff for help, they left me because they had to go cleaning and I was left bleeding in the common space (since the rooms were locked off)
At first I disliked having my luggage in a separate room on a separate floor, but I've come to realize that I prefer it that way. You don't get bothered by the sound of people opening and closing their luggage and the luggage is in a locked closet. It was inconvenient that the floor was locked off some hours of the day, but its nice to have a clean bed and clean towels every night.

CyprusThe floors in the locker, lounge and entrance area were very dirty. The common toilet at the entrance was smelly and dirty ,especially the door.. Their rules and regulations of where and where not taking off shoes were confusing. There was no place where to put the street shoes. The lockers on the 3rd. were so small to store luggage, clothes, shoes and a daily bag. There was no elsewhere to put your personal belongings. The "breakfast" was a piece of cake and a small cup of coffee. From 11am until 3pm there was no access to the cabin neither to the locker area. Lighting in the shower area wasn't WOW.
The cabin and Shower area was very clean. Every day new bed sheets and towels. Very comfortable futons. I found it a great advantage no suitcases or personal belongings were allowed in the sleeping area. So there was absolute silence.
