We travelled with 2 teens and they loved having their separate single rooms, but I panicked at size of the double room I shared with my husband. There was barely space to open one carry on. I ended up opening mine in the narrow hallway, where we had to step over it to get out. The bed was pushed up against the wall on one side.

There wasn't much to dislike. Wish there were 2 pillows instead of one. Amenities was basic. Wish they have bath salt for me to soak in the bathtub.

Stay there at end of 2024. Location was great as it was between Nara Station and Kintensu Nara Station. Clean Small room but that is typical in Japan. The people at the front desk was friendly and speak good English. They greeted me everytime i go out or come back to the hotel. There were a lot restaurants nearby so choice of foods was endless. Konbini store was nearby.Nara park was a 20 minute walk. Tourist shopping areas was a 10 minute walk. WIFI connection was strong. Windows can be open for fresh air. The bathtub was awesome! You can soak in there for hours as it was deep.😅😅

The standard pillow was very hard. It was a double sided pillow with a 'hard' and 'soft' side, but honestly there was not much difference between the two. Not sure why the standard pillows are not more soft. But that is really the only thing I could complain about : ).

Great location close to the main JR Nara Station, also not that far from the Kintetsu one. Room was small but clean, staff very polite with acceptable English knowledge. There are tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance from the hotel, Nara Park is also not that far from the hotel!

The check-out was at 10 am when in other hotels, check-in can be made later, around midday. So we had to wake up early and left almost in a rush the following morning.

The hotel was clean and the location was excellent. It was also confortable.

I really liked the location, it was quite near the Nara park and all of the temples (just 15 min walk). The staff was nice and even after checkout I could leave my things at the reception and wander around some more

5 mintute walk from either train station in Nara. Lots of food options around and a family mart too. Room was clean, it is small but it's for 1 person. Best not to have a really big suitcase !

Hotel is tucked back on the boulevard and blends into the quaint street, so easy to miss the front entrance. It might be a challenge to drive up to the hotel for check-in/out, unless there is a rear entrance I don't know about. Perfect for those of us who walk there.

Very close to JR train station and located along a major pedestrian shopping boulevard with very few cars. So no noisy cars, trucks, or motorcycles pass by at night. Lots of cafes, convenience shops, and family restaurants nearby. This main street is brightly lit at night and lots of people are walking from one end to the other, so feels extremely safe all day/night. I had a nice view of this area and its mountains; I woke up hearing bird noises in the morning (a plus for me).

The room smelled of smoke slightly, although I thought it was a no-smoking room. Not too bad though.

Nice budget friendly hotel, clean and comfortable. You can open the windows to get some fresh air, definitely a plus.

The room was too small for 2 people and one suitcase had to be stored on the bed? But this is Japan and except for nowhere to store a suitcase is par for the course. Old fashioned Air Con control on the bed head. Cooling only is available and don’t know how this works in Winter. Presumably it gets switched to heating mode from a central switch somewhere. Didn’t partake of breakfast so can’t judge it.

Excellent location and close to all the action in Nara.A good price. Very friend.y and helpful staff. Daily room cleaning if required. Able to open the room window and get some fresh air.

The alarm clock and light switch panel and air con was right next to the pillows and your head. If you had the aircon on the lights would be in your eyes, not very easy to sleep. Fridge was very small and a very small room was hard to get around. Needed to ask for a towel with an extra child in the room. I had booked for my son and I but only provided 1 towel.

Nice and close to the main areas of Nara and easy walking distance to everything. Short stroll from Nara main station to Nara Park. Room was comfortable and nice to have a bath for our toddler son. Clean and bed was comfortable and the block out window was great. Ammenities at front desk free of charge and loved the soft toothbrush!
