Clean, comfortable rooms. Only a few beds (3-4) in each room, so you're not having to stay with too many people. Staff were friendly and helpful, even though they're only down in the reception area for limited hours a day. Women-only dorm had one bunk bed and one single bed with a curtain dividing the two. I slept in the lower bunk, no complaints. Have to pass through the mixed dorm room to reach the women-only room, but there was a locked door between the two rooms that I assume only the guests for the women-only dorm have the key to. Not sure if mixed dorm room has a lock or key. A bit of a walk from the station, but convenient location in a central part of town with coffee shops and restaurants nearby, easy access to the tourist loop bus stop.

Only one bathroom and shower, sometimes inconvenient to wait, but with only ~7 people capacity in the dormitory floor, it's not terrible. Bed sheets and blanket were a bit scratchy, but no big deal.

The room was very clean and the check in was simple. I made a mistake with the date so I contacted the staff and got immediate assistance without extra cost. Thank you so much!

A cute guesthouse, super happy with the facilities. We stayed in the tatami room, its a bit small for 3 people, but for a short stay it worked perfectly and the futon were comfortable The staff is nice and helpful and the little kitchen was great to have a coffee the morning or cook in the evening

Very nice host in a fairly good location. Just steps away from the bus stop but a bit of walk from the the train station. The female room was cozy and spacious. Nice kitchen for a quick meal and clean shower room. The general atmosphere makes you feel at ease and relaxed.

It's a comfortable hostel that offers great value in the center of town. + Excellent location + Very clean + Comfy beds + English spoken + Fresh baked goods sold on site - Limited communal spaces I had a great stay! Thanks to the staff who welcomed me with excellent English.

Staying here even for one night was very nice. Gina helped us find our bus the next day as soon as we arrived, our room was heated and very nice with a balcony, the kitchen was well equipped and had tea to make yourself. At the reception there was food from sandwiches to sweet things prepared by Gina's mom, very delicious, recommended. Good hall to watch movies or plan your trip ! Definitely recommend this place. One of the more comfortable hostels! Staff were very friendly and communicated very well in english, waited for me even though i arrived late. Beds were super comfortable and different sofas in the room to chill on if you have no plans!

Very good location, could visit every point of interest by foot, and good restaurants around. The bed was confortable and the heater good (winter time with a lot of snow).

My stay was fine because we were only two in the female dorm (and I got along with my roommate) but you don't have a lot of intimacy if the bed with curtains is already occupied when you check in. You have to walk trough another dorm to go to the bathroom. We were only three at the time on our floor so no issue waiting for the bathroom but would be a problem with more people. Staff was mostly absent.

Great location, wonderful staff, cute ramen restaurant right across the street. 2 min walk away from like5 bus stops, including one that goes straight to Nekoma mountain for skiing/snowboarding
