How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It is close to everything. Tokyo was hot in August and the hotel room is a bit small for a hot season. Even there is an air-conditioner, but at times it seems we need more space and air. The staff are amazing and very helpful.

No breakfast was provided, this was clear to us when booking and wasn't a problem as there were plenty of cafes nearby where you could get breakfast.
The staff were welcoming and efficient at processing our booking in and booking out. They kindlly assisted us with recovering our baggage when it didn't turn up on the flight. The rooms were a good size, excellent location (subway about 5 minutes walk, plus big everground station to Haneda about 10 mins walk) with easy access to most locations in Tokyo. There are a good selection of cafes and restaurants and a convenience store nearby.

The double bed was next to a wall so one person has to go over another to go in bed. Also I was an adult with 2 children I thought I was going to has a double and a single bed but we had to sleep in one bed

All good
Very central in Minato, lot of nice places to eat nearby. Tokyo tower is 10 min away. Very clean, room was spacious enough for a big suitcase, small one and four people, without being too tight. Free amenities, very comfortable. Coffee machine in the entrance

Room was quite small (although well laid out). No restaurant for breakfast.
Great location close to both yamanote, metro lines and the monorail (handy for getting to Haneda airport). Our room was comfortable. Magnificent view of the Tokyo tower from our 14th floor room. Nice area.

Only 1 lift so getting up and down occasionally took a while. The ice machine on the 10th floor was out of order but the one on the 5th floor worked perfectly every time.
Comfortable rooms with amazing pillows, clean, great coffee machine, big TV, very fast WiFi and adequate storage space for suitcases. The hotel is in a great location and fairly close to a number of big stations so easy to get around. Not sure why people were complaining about the AC. In our room, you could change the temperature and turn it off, but you can't change from cooling to heating mode.

I paid extra for the daily cleaning. They only replaced towels and made my bed.
The location was great. You can access multiple MRT lines. Bed was not that much comfortable. It is more likely a business hotel. I am not sure to say whether it is good for the price.

I booked a room for 2+1 and was expecting king size bed but bed was too small hardly 5 feet width.

Excellent hotel, rooms are not so spacious but that is common problem in hotels in Tokyo. The room was so clean and the staff was really polite. Not knowing very good english is oft an obstacle in Japan but the people at front desk used a translate application and everythin ran smoothly at check in out check out. There are lots of good eating places and a lot of Konbinis in the area. We went on foot to Tsikiji market and there is a very comfortable connection to city metro system with JR and Metro station within 5 min of walking. All in all a good experience!

Didn’t feel it was worth the price per night but Tokyo is expensive regardless of where you stay.
