Had a wonderful stay at Moiwa lodge, we stayed for 2 weeks and cant wait to get back again. The staff were great, they always have time for there guests and seem to genuinely enjoy there jobs. Facilities were fantastic, bear in mind this is not a 5 star hotel, if thats what your after perhaps you will not like it here. If your looking for a comfortable place to stay while enjoying the mountains this is for you. There is a fantastic information package available on there website that tells you everything you need to know. What set Moiwa Lodge apart from the rest is the social environment it promotes, you can rock up here as a solo traveller and make buddies to go riding very easily, everyone is chatty and friendly and i think the lodge is a big part of that. Aspects like the big bench tables in the breakfast area, the free shuttle buses in the mornings and the cute little bar in the middle of the lodge really help travellers meet each other, on top of that the lodge facilitates day trips to surrounding ski resorts.

Moiwa Lodge was perfect! Right at the ski lift and the free breakfast was super convenient to get fuelled up for a day snowboarding! The beds super comfy and the overall vibe was cozy yet fun.

Fantastic lodge with a great atmosphere, delicious breakfast, cosy bar and really helpful and fun staff. A very memorable Christmas and the skiing was awesome.

1. Cleanliness- some bugs in the room, both dead and alive. 2. Soundproof of the room door could be improved.

The room was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 kids, with ample space for our 5 pieces of luggage. The large toilet was a nice touch. However, we found some bugs in the room, both dead and alive. Additionally, our room was close to the reception, so at night, we could hear people talking and coming in and out from the lodge main door, making it difficult to sleep. The soundproofing of the room door could be improved. On the positive side, the location is very convenient, being very close to the ski resort with a kind of ski-in ski-out, within walking distance.

A most convenient ski experience with a very efficient ski rental service available on site at 8am and 4pm. The included unlimited breakfast helps start off the day perfectly. The atmosphere was extremely social and friendly!

Went here for snowboarding. The location is next to Moiwa, and about 25 minutes walking to Annupuri. I only had Ikon pass so I had to walk, but overall I really enjoyed the place. Met many nice people there as well.

There was a strong smell from the plumbing downstairs.Somewhere to store valuables would be great.

Pool table, option for bar and other chill spaces were great. Really comfortable beds. Breakfast was great and being able to order a meal was great. Bus options Great as well

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Driving you to the slopes or into Hirafu village a couple of nights a week. The breakfast buffet is great and the perfect way to fuel up before a day of skiing. The lodge also attracts fun social people so I made some great friends while I was there!
