Amazing hotel with amazing hosts !

The hotel location is superb. Close to the local shops and eateries. The room was an oasis with our very own sauna, cold bath and temperature controlled bath. Amazing views. The breakfast and dinner included with our room was second to none. The variety and quality with each course was a delight. The staff were attentive and offered the highest level of service.

There's nothing I didn't like. The only thing that could be improved would be the hours for coffee in the lobby since I had just missed it. I wish it was available for longer hours. I also thought the outdoor onsen area wasn't as pretty as some other places I've been too, but it was still a nice and relaxing experience.

The staff was wonderful. My husband wasn't feeling well so I emailed them just hours before our check-in to request if we could check into the room early and they replied quickly and offered early check-in at 1:30pm. Upon arrival, our room was ready and we were able to check-in as early as 12 noon due to the circumstances. The staff even offered to make him Okayu at dinner. It really made it easier for us and our stay more enjoyable. I wish we were able to participate in the night tour provided by the hotel. The room was great: clean and large. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. The shuttle to and from the ferry dock was also very convenient.

The WLAN was erratic at best. Signal in the room very weak wich was annoying.

Amazing facilities, we had a Japanese room. The Onzen was super clean, with a nice outdoor section and a sauna. Central location perfect.

The breakfast had 2 options: Japanese or Western. We took the Western but as it was a set dish there was no further choice. Also for the dinner we booked, the Japanese food was to special for us although we really like Japanese food.

The location was very central, near to the shrine and the main street with many restaurants. The view on the beautiful garden with pond from the hotel restaurant and the coffee corner was really lovely. The staff were extremely helpful.

Nothing really, maybe a bit pricey for what it is

Private Onsen is amazing with unbeatable view on the sanctuary and the bay, service is fantastic, Japanese room have an unique luxury feel to it. We loved everything

Lovely staff - so many of them too! - and a real Japanese experience. We dressed in the the yukatas provided and had the traditional dinner and breakfast. It's kind of old school - the rooms have keys instead of keycards - but all the facilities are high quality (eg Occitane toiletries).

The only downside was the dinner - it was 11 courses and you couldn’t ask for less so felt bad leaving food!

The staff and service was amazing. Facilities were also great with a public bath that had outdoor baths and breakfast and dinner included which was different each day.

The only thing was that the air conditioning wasn't as cool as other hotels we had stayed at. However it was okay even while the weather was extremely hot.

The location and staff were amazing. The shuttle bus from the ferry terminal is a great service. We arrived early to the island, and the shuttle bus met us and took our luggage so that we could explore. The driver also showed us a map and directed us to popular places to see. Our bags were in our room when we checked in later. We did not book food in the hotel, and the staff kindly helped us find and reserve a restaurant on the island for that evening as lots of places close early. The staff were very professional and kind even when I made a mistake about check out time. The room was very spacious and clean.

There weren't any laundry facilities available for guest use, which can be planned around, but still feels like a major improvement that could be made. This hotel uses a dated key system. I would've liked to see a more modern key card approach where I don't have to leave keys behind at the desk when I'm outside. Not a big deal.

The staff was helpful and very accommodating. Someone ran out of the hotel to meet me with an umbrella when it was raining. The room was immaculate, had a great view, very comfortable beds, and the hotel had a store that was open when the rest of the island had shut down for the night. Even when the store was closed, the hotel had vending machines inside. The tea and snacks included with the room were wonderful.

Staying on the island and seeing the sights after dark with only a handful of people still around was a highlight of our trip. The Grand was a beautiful place to stay and the food was absolutely superb. The staff were wonderful and we felt very welcome and comfortable there!

The ryoukan didn't offer kaiseki-style breakfast and dinner. But they did provide bento-style meals.

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our room. The room was really spacious, neat, clean, and equipped with a massage chair and private semi-outdoor bath with water running 24/7. It was a really nice stay. Customer service was impeccable. We had a female staff recommending where to eat for breakfast and dinner, as the ryoukan doesnt have a restaurant. We had breakfast served in bento-style inside our room, but we head out for dinner. The premium lounge was great, with free alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks. They've got vinyl collections too, but we didn't know if we could turn them on. The interior of the ryoukan, wow, i didn't know enough English to even start to describe it. Just wow.

The room was spacious, we had a hybrid room, so 2 queen beds and 2 futons in the lounge are. Very comfortable. Staff are very helpful. The package includes traditional food in a private dining room with a dedicated server. It was a special experience. We all enjoyed the public bath too.

Beautiful location and hotel just a few minutes walk to the Tori gate. Nice privatw onsen with an outdoor hot tub with crisp fresh air while soaking.

We booked verrryyyy last minute so price accordingly! its an old style beautiful Japan hotel! Rooms were there fore a little outdated but you can not beat the location and the view from our room was breathtaking and I am so glad we made this decision to stay in the island overnight! we were going to do a day trip only to hiroshima but added this last minute and it was ine of the highlight of the trip! We got breakfast to our room that overall was nothing special so I would rather go somewhere in the morning! Check out is also at 10 o clock!
