JapanLots of variety and delicious items at breakfast. It’s just a shame that much of the hot food (scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, etc) was stone cold. It’s a buffet. I expect that we were just unlucky with our timing.
A friendly welcome from the staff. A huge, spacious, clean and comfortable room. A fun activity for kids to do with a lovely and generous prize on completion. Fantastic elevators. We hardly had to wait at all.

JapanFor the price, I expected more amenities like mouthwash, etc. The hotel sits right next to, and is close to several large pachinko parlors which gives the area around the hotel a slightly different vibe than a destination hotel normally would. The pillows were the old style, bean filled types which we can all agree are horrible.
For our purposes, visiting family, the location was excellent, south the of the train station area which can get congested, especially if you're traveling by car. Staff was friendly and helpful and it sits right next to a fun shopping area with plenty of eating options nearby. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the view from upper floors is really nice. We look forward to staying there again.

United KingdomThe staff were mostly unwelcoming and at times plain rude. Apart from a couple of really lovely and dedicated workers, front desk staff were cold, dismissive and at times even disrespectful. Unlike in past years, concierge service was lacking and staff made you feel like you were a nuisance. I don’t know if it was the fact we spoke English only, but their approach to us in front desk was inadequate and not at all what I’ve come to expect of this hotel.
I’ve stayed in this hotel before. Multiple times. In previous years, the service was excellent and there was a more welcoming atmosphere. I still enjoyed the facilities this year, the location and the room.

CanadaThe convenience of shuttle bus from the train station to hotel was good! Their breakfast had good selections. The location was excellent that everything was in walking distance; shopping, coffee and restaurants. We had good size room and clean. Hotel helped with luggage delivery to airport.

JapanThe hotel on the outside shows it’s age and looks a bit undermaintained and unkempt. If you can get past this, it should be fine.
Room was smallish, but comfortable. Good shower pressure. Staff very helpful and spoke English. Drinks on the top floor at a reasonable price. Free shuttle to ToyoHashi Station and back. Takes about 15 minutes.
