The room was very traditional and charming, big enough and with very interesting details.

but the service was terrible. First of all, they do not speak english or other languages beside Japanese. Before arriving, I contacted the property to ask for information about dinner, and I was told that it wasn’t necessary to organize it in advance and that we could decide once we arrived. However, when we got there, we were told we couldn’t eat because we had to be booked in advance. So we decided to use the bath instead and asked to reserve it for 8:00 PM because it was available. But when we showed up at the scheduled time, they had given the reservation to other guests (i still don’t know why) , so we couldn’t do that either. In addiction, even though I had also asked about this before arriving, they were unable to help us with the luggage shipping service.

Very authentic, great location to rest, the breakfast was excellent

It was quite modern even tho i wanted something really traditional, which here it felt like that, I am just happy to be spoiled. The rooftop bath was also very nice, would recommend - maybe with less lighting but still perfect for me (you can go there for 1000¥ per 1 hour). Also I didn’t spend much for the accommodation so I sum it up and say it was perfect for me.

Only the wifi was a little bit slow but otherwise nothing

Nice room with confortable futon in a minimalist designed room. Very good breakfast changing everyday. The location is good, many buses an available.

The air condition takes a long time to really cool down.

Outstanding. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Room was fabulous. Small extra charge for the rooftop bath but well worth it. Appreciated the 11am checkout time. Traditional Japanese clothes for guests. There is a top quality Japanese restaurant on site so if you want a very special evening there book ahead. I wanted to stay another night but it was booked out.

Really nice place with a beautiful bathroom. The onsen was outside and really beautiful . The room was elegant and special. Staff great. We had the Japanese breakfast one morning and it was very high quality. Garden was also beautiful.

The food was amazing! Breakfast and dinner were included, and the portions were so generous we actually felt a bit guilty not being able to finish everything at times. We were there for a 50th birthday celebration, and although my husband has a bad back, the staff were incredibly accommodating. They kindly arranged for a dining chair to be placed in our room so he could sit comfortably to put on his socks and relax. The thoughtful service made a big difference to our stay. Highly recommend

The only downside is that if you have mobility issues, a traditional-style stay may not be the most comfortable option. Also, the location is a little out of the way but we ended up discovering a lovely little café just around the corner, which served great coffee and made our mornings extra enjoyable.

We loved the garden and the private bath we reserved. We just got engaged so being able to have such beautiful facilities was lovely:)

Everytime we got our room cleaned something we left got taken. Such as biscuits or even a prescribed cream we got from the pharmacy. We didn't realise our stuff would be mistaken for trash if we left it on the table, that was a little bit annoying as the cream was needed.

Staff were very, very nice and spoke good enough english for us heldnour bags for us when we needed very nice traditional vibe to the room loved it abir far.from stuff but just jump.on the bus and you'll be fine

Small rooms and beds on the floor, but that's Japan tradition, nothing to complain about..Breakfast is a done by a master chef.
