Short 20’ walk from bus station & easy to find. Fully equipped kitchen if wanting to cook & shopped beforehand. Owner very pleasant & inviting.

Only toilets are downstairs necessitating negotiating stairs in middle of night!

A lovely, well located and excellently equipped guesthouse. Right at the entrance to Kumano Hayatama Taisha Grand Shrine I’m surprised this wasn’t featured in their advertising.

Narrow, steep staircase, may make it tricky for some with heavy luggage.

Extremely clean and tidy, washing machine provided, kitchen facilities, zero distance to Hayatama Taisha, great shower facility.

Distance from train station, clothes hangers in the room.

The place is meticulously clean and comfortable. The host is very nice and responsive. Traditional house with all new features inside. In a great area of town for restaurants and sightseeing.

The walls are a little thin so might be an issue. I had no problem sleeping though.

It’s a good choice to stay here. We walk Kumano kodo. It’s full in Gokuchi. The house is New, clean. There are wash machine, refrigerator. The location is in front of 速玉大社。

    It seems no restaurant nearby.

Cafe next door is fabulous, beautiful rooms, very comfortable and clean, extremely well located across from Taisha, tastefully decorated in classic Japanese style, has very nice living room and kitchen area that encourages social interaction

    Loved every bit of it
