Very steep stairs and the bathroom and shower was on the top floor which was a bit inconvenient.

The location was good, close to shops, bars and stuff but still in the quiet area. The owner was also nice, kind and friendly:)

Great location, friendly staff, good kitchen facilities and eating area. Bed was comfortable, AC worked, curtains on beds. It's a proper local hostel experience, really enjoyed my stay.

The space of the whole property is unexpectedly small and the hygiene is not very ideal. The shower room is difficult with lack of the accessories that a shower room should provide

As other people mentioned, the stairs are really steep so I don't know how anyone would get a suitcase up there. And yes, there's only one single shower for the whole hostel... Also, in my dorm it was quite hot already in May. Since there's no air conditioning I wonder how people sleep in summer.

It's a good place to stay. I really enjoyed the free coffee and tea as well as the free breakfast. The people were also nice and the location is great!

Everything was pretty straightforward, from the check-in to the check-out. I also liked the breakfast that's included, lots of variety and it's fresh and can easily rent a towel or ask for a hairdryer on the reception desk. Highly recommend staying at this hostel.

There was only 1 shower for the whole hostel which also had the tap for the toilet next door inside.

Great location to station and easy to walk to good restaurants. Kana was so helpful and called a bike hire company for us to cycle awaji island, she made this seamless for us when we were struggling with language

Good bed, very good wifi you have a router on everyfloor. nice and warm in the winter.

Not a dislike, but a warning. This is an old Japanese building. the stairs are STEEP and NARROW. If you have big luggage you will struggle getting it up the stairs. the toilet is also narrow, if you are a big person, you will struggle to fit.

It's a great little place. Very friendly staff who are eager to help you find places to explore. the bed was clean and very comfortable. I was also on the top floor so I got a nice view from the balcony! The location is also fantastic. It's easy to walk to a lot of tourist hotspots without ever taking the train. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Inconvenience with the building structure, very narrow stairs and too few toilets. Only two, one which is inside a dorm room, the second very tiny one without a sink another floor upstairs. Only one shower. No place really to brush teeth/wash face without disturbing other guests (only sink in the dorm) so I washed hands, face and brushed teeth in the shower. But the price is cheap so it's fair. Another thing I didn't like was all the little warning signs everywhere of what not to do and warning about penalties etc. Even the guitar had a sign on it lol. It just gives out a hostile unwelcoming feeling. But I suppose they've had troublesome guests in the past that made them have to put up signs for people to act in basic respectful manner.

Bad soundproof, you can hear how people talk in the common area or in other rooms. No filter for water refill. The restroom is a bit dirty.

The bed was good, there was space for belongings or a small backpack inside your bunk bed. There is determined space for the luggage in the room and lockers for valuables/small backpack. The grocery store is 3 min away from the accommodation and 10 min to the Sannomiya station, 15 to the Kobe station.

Be careful of the very narrow and steep stairs to get to dorms and toilet !

Staff were really friendly and good conversationalists. This gave a good atmosphere to the place, welcoming social space and convenient short walk to station and china street for food !

There is no sink with a soap in the common area, so after the bathroom, one may wash hands in the shower. There is a sink in the room, but if someone comes late, you hear them using it. I had to wake up at 5 am, and to let people in the room sleep, was washing face and brushing teeth in the shower (which you actually shouldn't use between midnight and 8 am according to the rules).

Cosy little place, comfortable beds surrounded by curtains. There is some breakfast (which is just a toast with butter and jam), and it starts at 5 am (which is very convenient if you take early trains).

A bit hard to find. Was in a little alleyway. The stairs up to the rooms where very narrow, and the height to the cealing was low many places

Toilet and one shower wasn’t the best. My umbrella was stolen from next to my bed (not the hostels fault). Not very accomodating with leaving your luggage in the hostel after checkout.

Cheap but pretty average place. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but was alright for a couple of nights. Pretty good location and free cold drinks were nice.
