The staff was very welcoming and very helpful. The Japanese meals were wonderful, just as we like them. The private outdoor onsen was great before dinner. The view, sound, and breeze of the Sea of Okhotsk from the room was delightful.

The space around the toilet bowl was rather small and would likely not be too comfy for taller people.

Lovely small hotel with plenty of comfortable communal space. Nice sea view from our room. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were able to book the private onset for both our nights,, which was a real treat.

The mattresses were laid on a raised wooden frame that cpuld fit 3 single mattresses. We had 2 single mattresses and as result the mattresses were able to shift we we turned around. I guess the mattresses were rather light.

Simply a gem, a family run little hotel with complete service with half board of specially curated menu from local ingredients. The open air onsen was the highlight..required reservation..the room was spacious and clean, the bath accessories and designs are modern and functional. The hotel is located close to the sea and parking was just right in front of our room. The room door locking system is advanced ,unlike most hotels in Hokkaido still uses the physical key system.

Everything was perfect

The incredible location plays its part, with views of the frozen sea and mountains behind where deer graze just behind the open-air onsen. But the hotel takes it even further. Elegant yet simple and welcoming. The food was delicious and the staff really helpful. It was perhaps the most beautiful place of our trip. Hopefully see you again!

The room for my family of 3 is spacious. It is clean and comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights and were impressed by everything. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in a ryokan in the Shiretoko area.

The room had no lounge to sit in for reading. There were two chairs that you be used for sitting at a bench, but they weren't really suitable for leaning back and relaxing

Very close location close to the Shiretoko National Park. Lovely views of the sea. Well appointed facilities. Two good onsens, one outside. Excellent breakfast and dinner meals served. Staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Location just opposite the sea with great view.. We have a room facing the sea and had fantastic sunset shots. Staff are courteous, and very friendly even though we don't speak Japanese, they tried their best to explain in English during our kaiseki dinner. A place that you can feel the sincerity of the host.
