Location is very good, and the hot spring on the top floor is spacious.

There should be more frequent clean up in the changing room of the hot spring (at least for ladies) as the floor is usually full of hair. There is also no shower cap provided there. The size of tooth paste (bundled with a toothbrush) is not enough for two usages and we need to open a new set everyday, hence a waste of the toothbrush.

The building was very upscale, compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The staff was friendly and helpful. The onsen was VERY relaxing, and the spa wasn't too hot. They provided all the amenities we needed.

The staff were basically well-mannered and friendly, and the breakfast was neat, offering both Western and Asian options. What I liked the most was the spa and sauna on the top floor. It was more than enough to relieve fatigue during the trip, and even though it was a shared space, the cleanliness was very well maintained. The location was very close to the city center, making travel convenient, so I had absolutely no complaints. The room size was more spacious than other Japanese hotels, and since it was a newly built property, the overall maintenance was in good condition.

However, the price increase due to the peak season was inevitable. If you avoid the high season, this hotel would offer excellent value for money. One thing I was not fully satisfied with was that the room had quite a bit of dust on the first day. This was resolved after I requested an air purifier, but I still felt the housekeeping team could pay more attention to dust cleaning. Aside from these two points, there were no real issues, and they did not have any significant impact on my stay.

The location was very central.. The room finishes were above average. The onsen was nice.

The room was very dusty. The cleaning staff would not even make up beds unless specifically asked. The location was incredibly noisy, with motorcycles deliberately revving engines under the window throughout the late hours.

Great location with easy access to subways or walking to nearby spots. Seeing the temple every time we came in or went out was a highlight. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our king room was absolutely tiny, which made it impossible to navigate for two adults. Especially with the sink located inside the sleeping area. We requested to move, but we would have had to switch rooms nightly during our stay so we just dealt with it. Breakfast was mediocre. The bolt on our room door did not work for when we were inside, which was frustrating because the door also did not automatically close! We had to always be sure to pull it closed behind us. Last, the light in the toilet room doesn’t stay on without motion every few seconds, so be prepared to wave your arms around while you’re sitting there. Overall, not enough positives to outweigh the negatives and we would not stay again.

LOVED this hotel. Would stay here again. It is incredibly close to all the shopping districts including the Pokémon cafe, shopping and also amazing food places. For good coffee, visit Ralph’s coffee and maize cafe which are all close by. Will be booking this again
