Breakfast -- please get a good "espresso" machine that will solve a lot of headache for the travelers. Also, please make sure that basic items, such as "ajitsuke nori" are not out of stock. I was quite disappointed by the very poor quality of coffee. Also, when I booked online I paid for breakfast, but the hotel did not have that information. So, I paid twice for breakfast.

They were able to change my room, as I did not like the first one I was assigned to. The second room was a huge improvement, and I was able to relax then. I do not think the US website for booking is working very well to do justice to this very fine hotel.

As we are vegetarian, so limited food selection during breakfast. Else it is good.

Superb location, 200mtr to Samurai District, 01Km to castle and garden. 10min bus ride Higashichaya. Best place to stay in Kanazawa. Do not fall for Kanazawa Station hotel. As this hotel is just 02Km from station.

Bed was hard as a rock. Also, we were given a corner room that didn’t feel 23 m square, very cramped. We didn’t complain, only realised too late it wasn’t right. So comfort suffered.

Very clean. Powerful shower. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great breakfast choices. Location, not bad, maybe a bit too far from station and traditional areas.

We had extremely good service from the hotel concierge who supported us with finding additional accommodation. It was fantastic. The location is also great, right next to the castle. We paid more than we wanted to for Kanazawa accommodation but didn’t regret it in the end.

Its a high end hotel with great location very close to tourist visit sites. It has an impressive building and presentation. Starbucks and choice of restaurants, high end shopping are at few foot steps. Staff are very helpful. The breakfast was bit pricy but well presented with plenty of choices. The lifts, the corridors and rooms have impressive decor and looks. Overall the hotel gives a feel of being in a nice facility. The rooms are spacious. We were on the 9th floor room. The views were nice. The toilet and bathroom are well decorated and stocked. Laundry service is well priced and prompt.

We had a room booked with lounge access. In other hotels we stayed at with lounge access, the food and alcohol was more abundant and we found we didn't have to go out for dinner. At the Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel, the lounge was more like a pre-dinner snack type event. Breakfast was also minimal. That said, what was available was delicious.

The hotel was well located and was within walking distance of the main attractions in Kanazawa. The rooms were lovely and quiet and staff were helpful.

Breakfast time and check in time around lift area- too many staff walking around who can be in the way. I understand it is Japanese way(omotenashi) but some of their what they think it is their omotenashi can be just annoying. I find this staff wearing silly earphones not not helping neither. You go top class hotel anywhere around the world, you don't see this kind of things. And yet, they can't seem to have a small talk, which I find it cold. You might as well have everything done by a robot!?However, their staff member located in Club Lounge, were excellent. Fluent in English and communication skill was amazing unlike others in the hotel.
