We could often hear noises from the street at night or in the morning, including ambulance sirens. While the interior of the house was clean, the outside area and the roof were not that well kept.

The house is cozy, has a convenient to use kitchen, rooms with tatami mats, and a roof terrace. Great ocean view! The overall experience was pleasant and we could imagine ourselves coming back here.

Had a bit of a weird smell. Checkin is not at the property which was annoying. Washroom wasn’t ideal as the hot water wasn’t turned on and we had to figure out how to turn it on with no English instructions - it would be nice if more things were labelled in English. No blinds on kitchen window.

Good location, very close to the beach. Fairly spacious. Complimentary coffee packets were appreciated.

Not much charm, a lot of don't do signs and next to a very busy and noisy road at night with the motor bikes.

Nice place to stay for a night or two. Parking is possible under the building for 1500 per day, so a bit cheaper than the public parking.

I was visiting with Japanese friends and unfortunately could not find ANY tea ! Coffee was great but no sugar. Please make sure you provide tea. My friends were disappointed

It does seem a little old. I think they can throw out some items that they do not need anymore like some looked dusty and rusty on the first floor and before going to the terrace too.

It’s great that it’s close to the sea and close to some other restaurants and cafes too. Nice to be up on the rooftop as well. The TV was broken so the restaurant where we get the keys for check-in offered us one food and one drink for free.

The location was excellent, close to the beach in a very nice area. Transportation by train or bus was very convenient.

Kitchenware including the chest was dirty and sticky…. 2 of the frying pans were very scratched !!!! Gas-dai dirthy. One chair in the kitchen was dirty. No good variety of Dishes: there was a rice cooker, but rice bowls !? The refrigerator did not cool enough, but the freezer had the right temperature. Gas-dai dirty.

Toilet , bathroom, was very clean. kitche-row was very practical. The atmosphere in the sleeping rooms was very nice and clean. The comfort of the futon’s and the bed’s was also nice.

It’s a spacious property with a great kitchen, balcony, and a rooftop terrace where you can chill and watch the ocean. We could also park at the property for a reasonable fee. It is spotless, well equipped, and literally two blocs from the beach. We appreciated the coffee, as well as the excellent selection of cosmetic products in the bathroom.

We travelled in winter and the apartment was very cold. Even with the airco working full power in heating mode we barely could warm up the bedroom and kitchen. The apartment looks a bit basic and I guess more prepared for summer. The bathroom and toilet need some updates... In any case we only stayed a couple of nights, so it was enough

The kitchen is very nice and has everything you need for your holidays. The beds were comfortable. Location seems very convenient in summer and 20min walking from the center

The Japanese style beds were painfully thin, compared to all of the others I’ve slept on. I didn’t sleep for 3 nights. The property itself was not very clean when we arrived, with hair in the bath and many of the dishes needing to be rewashed. The roof top is unfurnished so despite having a lovely view, it’s not really a useable space.

All essential amenities were provided and the accommodation is within easy walking distance of grocery and convenience stores, the beach and cafes. The western style beds were comfortable and you can open lots of doors for a cool sea breeze.

If you want/ expect absolute silence it may not be for you, there is a road nearby which could be loud for some people, but it is far enough back from the road not to be a problem & if you are distracted with the beach & good company it will absolutely not bother you anyway!

What a gem! We will definitely be back! The beach house has everything you need, fully stocked kitchen (byo food of course), laundry, bathroom with tub & shower, western beds & tatami rooms depending what you like, outdoor furniture for the private rooftop terrace! So clean & beautiful quiet location close to the beach, check in made easy at a nearby hotel with lovely staff who explain everything & have it all in English if needed. Nice touch with the free coffee sachets for the morning too- I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay- thank you so much!

The photos are not so accurate. It was quite a basic and run down sort of apartment. Quite worn out and the roof chairs were mostly old and broken. The pillows were thin and uncomfortable and all the storage for additional rooms was bolted up so we were unable to get more pillows. It was very noisy at night with a busy road nearby and motorbikes racing and roaring their engines all night and right into the early hours of the morning. Everything worked but there was nowhere to hang any clothes and not enough towels. You have to collect the keys from a different location which is close but quite confusing. There was a mix up on the booking and I was down for 1 not two people. This was settled and they promised to drop off more towels which didn’t happen.

The property was absolutely fine. It was near the beach and a few restaurants in a orettt part of Kamakura.

Broken furnitures. Not very clean. Why three sinks in the kitchen and a huge bar left no space to actually hang out.

The house wasn't cleaned very well. Also, it felt like an old private restaurant/bar where the owners just quickly tried to clean up and put some fresh paint without actually updating the place. I would call it a very expensive and outdated AIRBNB. No room to really hang out in. The so-called kitchen had 3 sinks for no reason, the chairs were half broken, and all outside tables were broken – which was a massive disappointment as we didn't get to enjoy the view from the rooftop or balcony as things were just outdated, not cleaned or needed replacement furniture. Overall, I have to say that the experience wasn't worth the money, and if I were you I would consider finding another place to rent for your stay.
