Would have been more helpful if flyers were provided for guests and not only 'for rent'. This second is more of an observation, not a negative: This place is more suitable for people who drive, as it is a good 30-40 minutes walk from the station. the taxi costs not a lot, but better if we drove. BUT the location makes is very peaceful so that is a plus as well- perfect if one has a car.

The best things about the Villa are the onsen and the spacious units, which really is more of a mini-apartment, complete with separate lounge and sitting room. the onsen was a very nice place to wind down after a good day's hike! staff was marvelous, helpful and polite. The whole place was clean and it is a perfect getaway from all the business of the city.

This is not something I dislike, but given resort is deep in a residential area, it wouldn’t be too easy to reach if you travel by public transport.

Room is extremely spacious as it has a large bedroom and also a Japanese style living room. This villa also comes with a large lobby and deck area where you can hang out and play some board games. Our package includes breakfast and dinner, the food was amazing and our tummy is very full after every meal - definitely the highlight of our stay there. Staff are very friendly and accommodating as well.

Very friendly and helpful staff who made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was delicious and we very very very much appreciated the free room upgrade. The private onsen was relaxing. Loved the amenity selection and yakuta selection. An occasional fire pit in the evening for marshmallow toasting was an extra treat.

We picked it be walking distance to the IZU Kogen train stop as well as the Jogasaki trail so were surprised it was in a more residential neighborhood. Best to book with meals as the restaurant choices were limited. There was free beer, soft drinks and snacks in the lobby. You pick up any amenities you may need there as well. The spa was private which is great for anyone not as comfortable with public bathing.

Not the property’s fault but we didn’t realise we were a good walk from the station and restaurants. The hosts very kindly gave us rides on two occasions.

The private Onsen is excellent, very relaxing: you do not want to quit! There are free juice and beer for every customer, anytime of the day! The rooms are bigger than the Japanese standard, and are suitable for families with children or a group of friends (4). We have not had the opportunity to have diner or lunch, but the breakfast, which is a set, is excellent. They came at the train station to pick up you.

15 minute walk from the train station with no public transportation, but as I wrote above, the staff made up for this when needed.

There are not enough words to describe the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They offered to drive us to and from the train station without us asking them. They serve breakfast in a very friendly atmosphere, and they even have a small evening party for the guests. Other than that, the room was spacious, clean and well-equipped, the bed was very comfortable, and the private onsen was a nice bonus. the location is somewhat remote but within walking distance to the beach. Highly recommended.

Couldn't find out how to turn on hot water in the bathroom (but there is onsen in hotel with hot water and shower) There are no convenience stores nearby, buy essential things before checking in

We had the entire villa to ourselves because it was the off season. The onsen baths were wonderful! The single staff member was very friendly and attentive. It was lovely and warm :)
