The staff at the hotel was excellent and extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The front desk staff was attentive, ensuring our check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Staff went above and beyond to provide recommendations and assist with our needs. The entire experience was delightful, making our stay at the hotel truly memorable and comfortable.

This has now been my third time in Hakone and this has been my favorite stay. Location in quieter part of Hakone which was conveniently placed 20 minutes from Togendai. An easy bus from there to one of the key points of Hakone, where you can then either go up the rope way to Owakudani or south to Hakone Moto. The rooms were very spacious, and especially clean. Convenience stores around 6 minutes walk away and vending machines for ramen and drinks on site. Owners super friendly with a very extensive guide on the best way to do Hakone. We even left our glasses and he very kindly helped us mail it onwards to Tokyo.

What a lovely place! It was so comfortable and the owners were super nice! The room looked new or freshly renovated, which added to the comfort. There's a bus stop a few minutes away. The town itself is quiet and peaceful, close to nature. I'm especially grateful to the owners, who welcomed us so warmly! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend staying here! The property was well located within easy reach of popular tourist spots. The owners were very friendly and recommended things to do and places to eat. The room was great, it was well equipped and so much bigger than other places we have stayed in Japan.

Clean, comfortable rooms with an exceptionally friendly/helpful staff. Great proximity to Fun2Drive (short walk) which was why we picked it. About equal proximity to a 7-11 as well which was great.

The place is superbly clean and the room is spacious. Definetly feel like home ! Part of the room is designed with tatami flooring which is a bonus. The owner is super friendly and helpful with introducing all the attractions around the resort.

Everything was spotless. Beautiful/Comfortable room. I would stay here again. The owners were very helpful with area information when I arrived. He even drove us out to the bus stop on the day of my departure when it was raining... to a bus stop with a covered area.

Friendly owner who can speak English. Carpark is easily accessible. Comfortable beds with 1 futon for our family of 3. Owner provides map with clear direction on the nearest attractions and eateries.

The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Convenience store and bus stop are close. Very tastefully furnished, extremely clean - I have never seen such a clean hotel room before. The room is very spacious and is equipped with everything necessary. I have found the origamis and the yukata a very nice touch. Everything was high quality and thoughtful. Communication was quick and nice, the view is great, basically the stay was perfect, I hope I can return one day.

It is a decent uphill walk from the local bus stops to explore Hakone but in a lovely quiet place.

Cute property with large, bright very well designed, clean rooms. The owner/manager so helpful, even helping to plan daily itineraries (including transport options) and best pick local restaurants for dinner. Make sure you get a Hakone free travel pass.

We arrived 6 hours before check-in time in pouring rain. They gave us a room immediately and a nice lady took care of our wet luggage while we were checking in. They were super nice. We had questions before and during our stay while we were out, they always replied immediately. Our room was super clean and prepared with attention to detail. At check-out they even gave us a small gift. Their service is 5*.

The place was very clean, and there was a lot of thought put into all the small details of the building. The host was exceptionally nice, easily the nicest host I’ve ever had the pleasure of talking to. He helped us with our trip, suggested places to eat and gave us personalized tips and suggestions. Honestly, just beyond amazing. I can’t wait to visit again - and we’ll be recommending this to all our friends.

We had 3 nights at Field Hakone. The hosts were absolutely lovely and super responsive before and during our stay. Cozy and nice place to stay in if you’re in Hakone for traveling the area.

Relaxing and close to nature stay in the mountains. Helping hosts who greeted us welcome and gave us very good tips on what to do, where to eat, how to book skinkansen etc. We even had yukatas in the room and coffee/tea at discretion. The only thing that could have been better is that the walls were thin and you could hear the neighbours.

This was a great find. The owners were lovely and incredibly helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, well equipped, and contained everything we needed to have a very enjoyable stay. The location was ideal for us, especially as we had a hire car and were able to park outside the hotel. There are quite a few very good restaurants in walking distance. If definitely stay there again.
