We loved everything about this hotel. The host was warm and welcoming. He was very thorough in explaining all the features of our room. We stayed in the Oudo (Ochre) Room, which was beautiful and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is fairly central, and we were able to walk to all the sights we wanted to see in Kanazawa. We cannot recommend Hanaakari enough. Many thanks to our gracious host for such a wonderful stay!

The host was super sweet—greeted us with welcome gifts and drinks on arrival, making us feel right at home. Tucked in a peaceful Kanazawa neighborhood, just a chill 10-minute stroll from the station and near Omoide Yokocho. The room? Spacious and comfy, plus bonus points for having in-room laundry—total game changer!

Very close to the station in a lovely location. A fair walk to town and would be good if the property provided a couple of bikes FOC to potter around on.

Superb hosting, even offering to book an experience we spoke about. He took us through the room and gave us good recommendations in Kanazawa when we asked. The room was so great, spacious and clean. Seemed very traditional, even the bathroom! Really enjoyed our stay.

The host was very friendly and spoke excellent English. He took the time to explain how everything worked. He had a book that explained everything in the room and walked us through everything from the door lock to the washing machine. The room has a blend of Japanese and Western style that leans more Japanese. Everything was perfect, in our opinion, and we would highly recommend it.

The accomodation is in a very quiet and peaceful part of town. Things are very clean and new, room is Japanese style low to the floor but beds are raised. There are a lot of electronics, window shutters to make the room dark, controls for bath, shower, toilet, ventilation etc. There's a book to translate the controls written in Japanese. There's no breakfast nor is the place continually staffed but the owner who speaks English is around quite a lot and is very helpful. Short, peaceful walk to the fish market and sites

We had a wonderful stay at Haanakari. The room was impeccable with every detail thought out so carefully. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We were given the most beautiful welcome gifts and had everything we needed to be comfortable for the nights that we stayed. Within 15 minutes walking distance to anything we wanted. Highly recommend!

Lovely little hotel / stay 10 minutes walk from Kanazawa station. Hotel Manager was a very kind and considerate host. Small decorative touches in each room, laundry facilities in room, relatively spacious by Japan standards.

This hotel was the best thing to happened here. Modern and traditionnal at the same time, you wont believe your eyes what you got for such a price. The owner is really nice and can help you with recommendation. 10 min walk from station, good restaurant on the way, plenty of Coffee shop, near touristic area (all can be done by foot)
