Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongThe room is small although I had mental preparation for that haha. They provide ice but not water by a machine.I wish they can provide water instead of ice only.
Provided facial products in lobby you can pick those by yourself as many hotels in Japan do.There is a fridge I like the most. There are many restaurants and connivence shops nearby. It is not noisy even the busy street around.

CanadaI didn’t like the fact that you had to leave the garbage outside the room in order to have it removed or taken away.
The building is colorful on the inside and the rooms were very clean.

United StatesI was given a room on the 13th floor!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the 2 breakfasts I had at the hotel. There was easy access to plenty of restaurants in the area as well as a very nice ice cream shop. I slept well.

Good value for money. Small room but clean and nice. Very near to convenience stores and restaurant. Also Ichiran is only next door to them. The area has already a lot of cherry blossoms trees. You can walk to Uso shopping, science museum, mirai tower and oasis 21.

United StatesThe location was perfect walking distance from the train station, shopping area and restaurants. The room was comfortable for one person. This hotel is surrounded by a lot of great bars and izakayas, music and nightlife can get pretty loud so do consider that if you're a light sleeper! I enjoyed my stay here.

BelgiumThe only downside is that the toilet smells a bit, but it was not overwhelming.
The staff members were very friendly and open. They have handled my requests multiple times while keeping their professionalism. Although the room was small (like any other Japanese hotel room), it has a cozy vibe to it.

JapanI hoped there would be some more toiletries. My partner and I had had to stay in Nagoya unexpectedly and we didn't have anything on us. So I wish there had been at least a toothbrush and a toothpaste.
Overall I was happy with the comfort of the bed. The room was clean and organized.

United KingdomThere was an issue with the WiFi in the room and initially the guy at the front desk was quite abrupt that there was nothing he could do. After pushing to the fact I look for places that offer WiFi and that I had paid for it, the lady at the front desk went and rebooted the router and it worked after that. That is the only negative thing I have for the hotel
Nice place to spend the night, had all the amenities you need, including night wear which was a nice surprise

PhilippinesThe double room was quite small for 1 adult and 2 kids. The bed looked big in the picture but in actual it's cramped for 3 people but nonetheless it's worth the money we paid.
The staff were kind and accommodating. The location was also convenient, walking distance to Sakae and have convenient stores nearby (7-Eleven, Lawson and Family Mart).

PhilippinesNot totally a bad thing, but I found it a bit overwhelming to continuously put all my towels outside every morning because a new set will be left by the door. Would be great to just get the staff to replace the towels inside the room. It's quite far from the nearest train station and buses can be tough to figure out even using Google Maps. We also got lost trying to find the hotel for the first time because Google Maps gave us the wrong walking directions.
We loved that they have ways to smoothen out communication despite the language barrier by using a translator app. Their front desk staff members are all very pleasant to talk to and are very helpful. They have a laundry area that you can monitor using the tv screen in your room (though I don't think it works properly). Loved that there are options for breakfast and that there's lots of drink options to choose from. It would have been nice to know the name of the dishes or get a heads up of what will be served especially with the type of sandwiches and the mini dishes.

South KoreaThe rooms could use a new coat of paint and some slight updating. The air unit could do with a bit of a clean. But nothing was terrible, only something you would notice if you're looking for it.
The staff was very kind. My Japanese is very poor but they spoke some English which really helped. The room was small but the perfect size for a solo traveler. The bathroom had a nice sized tub. The bed was one of the best beds I've slept on in a hotel with very comfy pillows. There's also provided amenities in the lobby including skincare, toothbrushes, combs, and more. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and I was very impressed with the quality. Despite being in a busy area there wasn't very much noise from outside at all.

IsraelNot close at all to a bus station. The nearest station is an 8 minute walk but a central bus station with more lines is about a 15 minute walk.
The room was comfortable but very small like many places in Japan. Located in a central area with many restaurants and a only a minute walk to a 7/11.
