A bit far from the train station,

The room was great, immaculate, staff were amazing. The restaurant was amazing for breakfast. I didn't go to the restaurant for dinner.

These things are just minor. But I thought there wasn't a lot of choice for breakfast. Eg. there was no fruit, juice was limited. And even though I arrived close to closing time, a lot of food was cold. I've been to breakfast at other hotels close to closing time, and the food has always been hot. There are no lockers in the onsen, so you need to take your personal belongings to the front office, or risk leaving them in your basket. I didn't realise I could take my personal belongings to the front office, so I just hid them under my clothes. I saw the notice about taking them to the office after I already used the onsen. But it was quiet, so it was ok. But I think next time I will take my personal belongings to the office. There was a small stain on the wall in the room where someone had used the fabric spray, and the overspray left a mark on the wall. The waste bin and tissues were hard to find, but they were supplied in the room. There's charger with multiple plugs - great idea, but I couldn't get it to stay connected - as in the charging kept on stopping and starting, possibly due to a broken wire or something - so I didn't use it.

Location is good, easy to access. Great value for money, in that parking is included, and it's much cheaper than hotels right in the heart of Sendai City. Lots of parking available. Plenty of food shops in the area - not too far away if you don't mind a short walk. Rooms are comfortable. Loved the quilt on the bed. Loved that the sheets weren't fully tucked in down the sides like in most hotels. Loved the Japanese style pillows. Even though the bed was firm, it was comfortable. I don't usually like firm beds and often have difficulty sleeping on such a firm bed, but it was ok and I slept well. Onsen (public bath) was nice. Room size is decent, but not large enough for any more than 1 suitcase. Definitely liked it here and have already booked another stay at this same hotel.

The location is a bit far away from the center jr station and the shopping / nightlife areas ichibancho / kokobuncho. You first have to walk 10 minutes to the station, then take the metro for 10 minutes. There doesn’t seem to be much around the hotel either. However, conbinis are reachable by foot in 10 minutes. Overall I think this is a good place to stay if you use a car. If you rely on the public transportation, the location is not optimal.

Was initially a little awkward to find. But with free parking and close to the train. It was fine. Another thing, the food was a little cold at breakfast when it should have been warm.

Room was a little cramped, but sufficient - may not be good for those with excessive luggage.

Clean, good facilities (including laundry), and access to shops and transport (train).

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Unlike some other places I stayed at, I could work comfortably at the table in the room. I happened to get a room facing west which had excellent views with sunsets. The communal bath on the 2nd floor is quite large, if a bit too hot. Viking style breakfast was provided with a large variety.
