Super clean. Yukata are provided for use in public onsen and free tickets for each day. The property is at the top of the hill and there are stairs so it would be difficult to take big suitcases up there. Staff are fabulous,

None! Everything met my expectations.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Morgenrot. The location is great (Kin no Yu and Gin no Yu onsen are close to the hotel as well as the bus station), the personnel are polite, and all the amenities have been provided. Price/Quality ratio met my expectations. Nice choice for those who want to save some money and have a pleasant stay in Arima Onsen.

The room was so spacious and clean. It had all the amenities we needed and the location was very convenient- close enough to the main sites, but not too close that we always had to deal with the crowds going back. Check in was pretty smooth as well. No issues when communicating with staff.

The room was very big with pantry but it's a pity there wasn't any cutlery when there's a stove for cooking. The room wasn't cheap so I was expecting proper toiletries instead just packaging. The bonus point was we're allowed to check in at 10:30 and given free entry to 1 public onsen which was just opposite the accommodation.

It is distant from most stores in the area. The heater was slightly insufficient for the size of the room.

The bed was soft and the place have the necessities in place(shower, kitchen, oven). It is also right across gin no yu which it give a voucher for.

The room is huge, very comfortable. It's like a mini apartment, although no bathtub but they provide Yukata and free onsen coupon for the famous kinyukan.

No tea,coffee, milk provided. Skinny stairs to carry up luggage. Generally no receptionist to ask for help.

Liked the prepared onsen basket to take to the onsen. Room was plenty of space. The onsen ticket to an onsen. Was a 15min walk to the good onsen. Beds were confortable. Room was quite and warn.

The room is very clean and spacious. Bed is comfortable. There is a microwave and electric stove and kettle. Hotel provides complimentary onsen coupons to the 2 main onsens

This is just nitpicking. But since I drove, I found it hard to find information on the best way to get to the location (especially navigating the small roads).

The location and the perfect lodging for the small onsen town. Also it meets my expectations where I wasn't looking for a ryokan but just sufficient for me to stay and relax. Rooms are big for the 3 of us, and we even have 1 free pass to the nearby onsen.

The location was great - opposite one of the two onsens and up the hill, so, en route to the cable car to Mt Rokko. The Morgenrot was one of the few establishments that stayed open for dinner.

everything was great. Do expect a good climb up the hills after you arrive at the train or bus station.

It's a very simple place which we absolutely enjoyed. Highly recommended. There's a nice balcony where we sat and had our breakfast. Giving it a 9/10 because it is not the wow-experience. It is rather that just everything is good. Very clean, nice kimono set for going to the onsen right across the hotel, amazingly quiet, comfortable beds and a kitchen space to sit and eat.

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Right across the street from public onsen and included a pass for each person in the room. Proprietor was super accommodating. Loved the atmosphere of the property. Had 2 bedrooms with kitchenette. Lots of space for family of 4. Had dinner in the restaurant that was really enjoyable. Nice picnic tables on the outdoor porch is a great place to relax in the evening.

Despite good location and easy check in, the facilities were poor. The kitchenette didn’t have everything needed such as dish soap or a tea towel. The bed was uncomfortable with only one pillow, and I didn’t get any WiFi access in my room. I also didn’t like how my room could be accessed easily from the street. The room wasn’t that clean either with a dirty loo roll cover and a large bug which appeared without any windows or doors being open.

The location was good as it across an onsen bathhouse and there was a restaurant below. The room was pretty spacious and the staff was really kind.
