Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. I liked the location of this hotel; it's near the leading stores in Osaka and has plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and professional. However, the room smelled unpleasant, and the air filter was noisy. Overall, it was good.

Need the shuttle to get to hotel - otherwise walk with luggage would be more than 15 minutes. Shuttle for early morning flight left promptly on time.

MalaysiaThe rigid process of check in. My sister was not well and I requested if we could check in early (at least 1 room for my sister to rest). We were there around past 1 pm. The reception refused. We have to wait until 3 pm to check in. We were informed that 1 room is ready (we booked 2 rooms) and if we want to check in early - we have to pay JPY3000. I don't see the logic in such rigidness. Perhaps the hotel can look into this and be more flexible when it comes to check in early.
The location of the hotel is near to the Shinsaibashi Metro Station which makes it convenient to train via subways. Dotonbori is within walking distance (about 15 mins). Parco (you can check out the Gibli exhibit on the 6th floor) and Daimaru are nearby. Amerika-kura also nearby (5 mins) where you can shop till you drop. Plenty of eateries offering different types of cuisine. Spoilt for choice. It is a simple hotel - if you are not picky. You can take amenities from the hotel lobby as well as coffee and tea. I would like to thank M.Sumino (one of the staff at the reception) for being so helpful to order a taxi for me and for providing information on how to travel via subways to the places I wanted to visit. Thank you
