The place is really nice for a trip to Ise or Toba. I recommend taking a stroll in the beautiful city of Ise. The service was perfect. The owner is very kind. I recommend trying the dinner as well for a delicious burger.

The mattress is a bit thin. Without a train ticket it’s a bit of a walk to the bus side of the station. But these are minor issues.

A spotless hostel, the host and other guests were kind people. I liked that the host served dinner in the evening, it’s a nice option when you are a bit too tired to explore. Complementary breakfast in the morning was great!

This is negligible, if you’re traveling light: No elevator and quite steep stairs to the second floor. This will be difficult if you have a large and heavy luggage. This for me was poor: Water in the bath was hard to adjust. Took a long time to heat up. And even after I finished bathing that morning (at 10 degrees Celcius of weather temperature) it didn’t heat up ☹️.

Location- very close to the station Budget-friendly and there was free breakfast (although I didn’t get to try it because I had to leave early) There was a separate room with enough space that served as the wash area / bathing / comfort room area. The owner accommodated my request to be on the bottom bunk because of my luggage. Lockers are available too.

The owner is extremely sweet, he cannot speak, but he ensures you feel comfortable and understand everything. The vibe of the hostel is very retro, takes you right back to the 80s. The neighbourhood is quiet, and the hostel is 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Great location, 3 mins from the station and also the bus stops that take you to the shrines. Super clean and comfy, nice shower room. Sweet staff and a yummy yummy yummy brekkie

Amazing location; close to the train station and very easy to find. If you like American 50's style, you'll definitely like this place! You just walk in and find the owner. The owner is an absolute rockstar and not only in the kitchen. The food is so delicious! This was my first time in a hostel because I feel a bit old for that, and hostels usually seem a bit minimalistic. This one, however, was very well equipped with anything one needs, clean and very well organised to boot. A great big thank you to the owner; even without your voice, you totally rock!

The place was very convenient - 4 minutes from Iseshi station. The host was kind and offered complimentary breakfast, which was deliscious. The room was very neat and facilities clean. I really got a good nights sleep and was refreshed by the breakfast.

I loved this place! 1. Location: ~ 3 minutes walk from Iseshi station, even if you use the JR exit, it‘s only like 10 minutes walk if you go slow. 2. the powderroom: spacious, comfy, warm, very clean, good lightning and big mirrors, finally a hostel bathroom you like to spend time in 3. 6 beds per room, very comfy and clean, good sheets, quiet 4. women only - felt super comfortable 5. the owner! Cute and enganged and very serious about his work, loved the breakfast and good taste in music ☺️ 6. supermarket, drugstores, convenient stores everything is nearby

Charge for towel 100 yen. Its in an area with no restaurants so arriving late it took some time to find somewhere to eat. You have to exit station across the long walkway on the Kinsetsu side of station not the JR side. If you exit on JR side you will need to get a pass ticket to get back across tracks to exit Kintetsu side.

Nice comfy little guesthouse with cafe/drinks and food if you arrive before 9pm which was too late to get food. Quiet and nice facilities.

The hostel is also a part of a burger diner and biker bar. It is run by the most kind person. It was worth almost the whole trip out to Ise just to have met him. He also sets a place for each guest in the morning and makes them breakfast. I felt at home.

Depending on where the bed is, air conditioning may not reach well so it can feel stuffy. You can only pick up your luggage after 4pm. If you are planning to drop off your luggage before check-in, try contacting the staff beforehand via the booking website or use the coin lockers/luggage service near the JR exit.

Very close (~3 minute walk) from Kintetsu Ise Station. Very convenient area. The hostel room is impeccably clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The powder room is well furnished. Delicious breakfast! And the retro American diner/bar downstairs is pretty cool. I would love to stay here when I visit the area again!

My favorite hostel of all time. The bed area is so spacious, I’ve never had such a large bed in a hostel. The duvet and bedsheets are so nice that I just want to sleep in longer ~ It’s obvious that the owner has given careful thoughts on how to make the guests’ stay more comfortable- the powder room has large mirror, chairs and one lamp per seat to assist your makeup :) Location is great too - just a few minutes from the train station (north exit!) and the bus station to anywhere you need to go.

There was nothing not to like

As someone not fond of staying in a hostel I enjoyed my stay here. The bed and sleep area was big, the powder room was good. And the breakfast was really balanced and delicious to start a day of travel. Definitely recommended

The owner was lovely always ready to help and making a really delicious breakfast honestly my favourite during my entire trip! The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathroom facilities were very well stocked, clean and spacious, there was one shower and one toilet on the first floor and one on the ground floor. The location is really convenient close to the station but in a really peaceful area I honestly couldn’t recommend this hostel enough!
