Outside bath were very nice. Clean and quiet. A bit far from the main street but we drove, so it was fine. House was spacious enough.

The pillow was too soft that it hurts the neck. Also the noise of passing trains could be heard from the rooms. Rooms were also dated and toilets too small.

The outdoor family onsen was great. And the dinner was simple but delicious.

Thin walls. Could hear louder conversation next door. Next to train track but train frequency and timing does not affect my rest.

Simple but good size room. Common private hot bath. Dinner and breakfast were basic but sufficient. Allow BYO drinks. Coffee machine and water free in common area. Vending machine for other drinks too. Location within walking distance to train station and Flora Village shopping street. Bicycle on free loan.

The beds were super thin so it was hard on our backs. Location was a bit far from the central yufuin but it wasn't an issue

Location was a bit out of the way from the main train station but we really liked the traditional feel of the property. Feels like a traditional, humble ryokan. Dinner and breakfast were filling and we enjoyed our stay. Onsen was super relaxing, especially the outdoor one because unlike other ryokans, the ones here are mixed, private bath which means my husband and I can enjoy it together rather than separately.

A lovely ryokan to stay on the edge of Yufuin. It was quiet with easy parking and a safe neighbourhood. We enjoyed the onsen very much and would not hesitate to stay here again. The meals were beautifully prepared and the dining room was lovely. There were bikes available for hire.

We saw other room mattress was ready before check in but we have to do it by ourselves and it seems lots of things in the cupboard.

There were mix up with eating arrangements and location of in-house bathroom. Free Rental of bicycles were great but breaks needed fixing

We had more than half the house to ourselves. Huge tatami room to sleep in and use of washing machine and dryer were so great.

The location is a bit far from main fuyuin station. Better to arrange for pick up from station and the staff are accommodating.

There are 2 indoor onsens and 2 outdoor onsens for private use. The Sakura house is good for travellers in group 4-6 pax with common TV area like home. The breakfast set is not fanciful but tasty like home cooking. Staff understands and speak English and that adds to convenience.

no one reply my message for pick up in advance so we had to carry our luggages to hotel and it was so far

The hotel confirmed that they can provide pickup service. So I left a message via booking platform the day before I arrived. No one responded. Tried several times afterwards, no one responded. It took us more than 30 mins to catch a taxi at train station. My father got a cold after that. The water in guest room was cold and small. It became warm after long time but still small. Water in public bathroom was too small to wash hair. The fried egg for breakfast was cold.

Appreciate the hotel drove us to the station the day we checked out.
