Lovely budget hotel that provided good value for money in a central location half way between the train station and old town. My room was comfortable and had a private bathroom with bath tub, and the included breakfast was simple but satisfying.

Excellent location, close to train and bus station. Near centre of town for restaurants and bars. Quiet room very clean.

The hotel looks dated – interiors, amenities, bed, bathroom .. everything. Breakfast was VERY basic: boiled eggs, bread, jam, coffee/tea. Overall, I'd rather pay slightly more to stay in a better hotel.

Walking distance from the train station. Basic breakfast provided. Overall it's OK – clean and does the job.

It was very clean and breakfast included. Nothing fancy but good for the price.

There was a musty metallic smell in the corridor and the hotel rooms. Better ventilation required.

Located between the main station and the shopping streets, very convenient. Free breakfast provided, luggage forwarding and receiving services present. Staff were super friendly.

Value hotel near the train station. My dad had the best night sleep however my walls were very thin so I had to listen to the neighbour sniffing and sneezing all night. Staff very friendly and great having breakfast included

The hotel offered the basics (including basic breakfast) but was still comfortable. Near the bus station and major places of interest.

Like the fact that simple English breakfast is provided. Also, the staff allowed us the early check-in even though the check-in time was 3pm. Value for money even though the hotel deco is quite retro and outdated. ☺️

Relatively reasonable compared to hotels around here It's easy to access Takayama Sta. on foot. The facility is a little bit old, but clean Services were normal.

Good location. Simple but tasty included breakfast of toast, boiled eggs, croissants, jams and unlimited coffee from a decent espresso machine. Tatami beds not very comfortable honestly. Even doubling them up still provided quite a hard bed. Window blind did little to block out light, meaning waking up at 5.30am every morning. For the price paid though, pretty good overall.

Good, clean, secure accomodation for an excellent price. Free breakfast was a bonus. Staff allowed me to leave my bag while i explored Takayama. An excellent stay!

Previous reviews mentioned an odour which I think was from stale air freshener and a renovation would be good to raise the rating from 8 to 10. A bit dated and needs a bit of a freshen up but it was OK.

Conveniently located a few minutes walk from the JT Train Station. A short walk over the river to the morning markets and located in the historical area with plenty of food choices nearby. A nice touch was the free breakfast which I didn't try but it looked fresh and smelt nice.

Central location two blocks from a Family Mart with a short walk to the bus/train station and preservation district. Older property and small room but had a clean environment and pleasant staff. A simple but sufficient breakfast was provided. I used the laundry room several times which was clean, easy to use, and inexpensive.
