The area is remote. We didn’t take the hotel meals and the drive to get dinner was long.

You can tell the hotel has a long history but it is maintained well and the site is beautiful. The staff is very attentive. The Ryokan style rooms are clean with beautiful views to the golf course. The Onsen is clean. There are free drinks and icicles in the lounge.

We only wish that we would have less grilled fish in our meals. We always try to finish them so the food are not wasted, but maybe less grilled fish will be good :)

We love our time at the hotel. The staffs were so lovely. We love the yummy ice cream at the beautiful coffee area. There will be buses that bring you to the closest bus stop. If you get the Hakone pass, it is super convenience to go around.

Onsen shower room was clean but felt a little old/run down.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and extravagant! We were assisted with our luggage upon arrival where they escorted us to our room. There’s complimentary shuttle service to the Ashinoyu bus stop and a transfer to the main town in the morning and return to the hotel in the afternoon. On our last day we were lucky to see the first snow!!

We stay there for 4 night and include breakfast and dinner for 4 days. The breakfast and dinner is standard and almost the same everyday. The taste is fair and not really suit to us.

The natural onsen in the hotel and it has outdoor onsen that is very relax and cool.

Shuttle is available to pick up and Odawara station and drop off to nearby bus stop to go sightseeing around Hakone. Very nice and quiet place to relax and enjoy. We enjoyed the Japanese breakfast and dinner experience.

Oh man....i wish we could have stayed forever! Initial thoughts were, this is a golf resort, likely full of golfers and nothing much else to offer. Boy were we wrong! Absolutely beautiful resort in autumn. Car park slots were plenty, hotel is beautiful, room is huge, clean and comfortable. Dining hall was large, spacious, airy and with gorgeous views of the gardens. Onsen was not too big but sufficient. Love the "chill hall"...a lounge that is free to use, with beverages and some desserts, but with awesome views of the greenery surroundings.

Location: far from the main village (Motohakone) and the bus stop. They have a shuttle once a day to/from Odawara station, plus a shuttle to/from the nearest bus stop. Room was smelly/old. Our room had no real chair, or anywhere to sit but the floor. Note that breakfast is only Japanese style. It was exceptional, but not everyone can stomach it in the morning.

Beautiful Ryokan. Huge room. Great view from the room. Set at a golf course, with a lovely pond/waterfall visible from the dining room. Very helpful staff. Helped us in many ways. Exquisite Kaiseki dinner. Don't even consider staying without taking it, as it is wonderful, and there are no other options around. Onsen indoor/outdoor was great.

Awesome stay and great staff. We had a amazing tradicional dinner and breakfast ate the property and a great relaxation time at the onsen. They also have golf lessons but we didnt had the time to play.

The Onsen cleaning area can be improved for cleanliness. I see mould on the wall and ceiling.

The hotel is generally old, but still very beautiful.

The hotel is comfortable with a beautiful view. The location is a bit far from the stations, but the hotel offers a free taxi service to and from the hotel. The staff was very attentive, and the food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious.

I was quite surprised that there was no first aid available!! We had a little incident and were very surprised to find out there was no first aid in the hotel!!

The location was amazing (being right in the middle of greenery and so close to lake ashi). The bus shuttle was also really great.

Should be good if you provide washing machine. Otherwise all good.

Location was perfect for relaxing, they provided free shuttle service from odawara station which takes 45 minutes to the hotel. We had a Japanese dinner, very yummy. Staff are really good and also free coffee, tea, soft drinks and icy poles unlimited.
