A car is a must. It's a good 20-minute walk to the nearest 7-Eleven. If you don't have a car and don't surf, there isn't much to do in the area. (We came by car and had a great time.)

The hostess welcomed us warmly, and we had no problems communicating. We were given a small house right next to the pool. Our child was thrilled. The beds were very, very comfortable! The shared kitchen and bathroom were nicely furnished and clean. The common area also had lots of games and books, and you could chat with other guests there. The accommodation is next to the ocean, and you can hear the soothing sound of the waves.

Great Guesthouse, well designed, with a very fun swimming pool. It's very close to the beach, and you can rent surfboards. We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer, but it was fully booked. Thank you!

Amazing hostel - one of the coolest hostels I have ever stayed in! Super clean, everything was new. We had our own little cabin which was very cozy. Very well tought through with chill area outside, pool, lounge and outdoor showers for after surfing. They even gave us their van for free so we could transport the surfboards we rented from them to the beach. <3 The vibes were so relaxed and cozy - would have loved to stay longer!

I really liked this place. I stayed two nights because i wanted to take surfing class. For surfers it is great place with easy access to the beach. The surf boards and wet suits are in really good conditions. Surf lesson was also great. Thank you!:)

Nice cosy hostel close to the beach. I had such a good and comfortable sleep there. It was so nice and quiet. I could only hear the waves of the ocean during the night.

We had an awesome stay at Pumping Surf. If you like to do some surfing in Japan in a relaxing atmosphere you are at the perfect spot. Super cozy Hostel, nicely designed with all the light bulbs. Easy walk through the forest to the beach which was perfect for surfing. Great surfing lesson by the owner, who was super kind and skilled in teaching.

We loved everything! The relaxed vibe of Pumping Surf, the friendliness of the staff, the cabin and the common room, and the ability to walk to the beach. It was wonderful. The surfing was amazing, and being able to rent boards and wet suits that we could just walk down to the beach was lovely. Thank you!

No restaurants close by, but good cooking facilities instead.

Excellent hostel, clean room, good AC. Good common areas and clean facilities. Close to beach and little crabs roaming around the yard and the forest next to the hostel. A little hard to find with GPS but has signs from the road so look out for them. Good parking.

Nothing really! Maybe it would be a little bit out of the way from things if you didn't have a car, but we did and it was super easy.

The shared facilities were great - there's a big, comfy shared area with a well equipped kitchen, and showers and toilets are clean and plentiful. Our beds were pretty comfy. It's right next to a path to the beach - about a 10 minute walk. Good wetsuits and boards to rent too, and the beach had good beginner waves.

Such a nice surprise! I ended up being the sole guest during the only night I staid and I really enjoyed that. The place is super chill, at night feels almsot like you are in the countryside and you have a direct path to the beach, just 5 minutes walking.
