    Nothing.

I love everything about this place—the location (just a short walk from Iseshi Station), the clean facilities, the friendly staff, and the peaceful atmosphere. They also offer a small piece of bread daily for just 100 yen each.

Wish there was a bigger mirror in the room so we could do make up or check our clothes before leaving.

Unique building, nice interior design with lots of good smelling wood.

The staff was so friendly (the first place in Japan I'd describe as "hippy vibes".) And Ise Jingu is incredible. I barely saw any foreign tourists... no idea why foreigners don't come here, it was maybe the highlight of my stay.

    Nothing- it was perfect!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly! The location was perfect- close to the station and Ise Jingu outer shrine with plenty of choice of restaurants nearby. Having rental bikes available was ideal and they were very cheap to rent for the day. The design of the place was clean and comfortable but still had a nice quirky type of design. Loved that there was manga available to read in the kitchen area. I was sad we only stayed one night!

There's no real downsides. Maybe if you have a lot of luggage or a big bag. It might be difficult to carry up the narrow stairs. There's no real place to put it other than just outside your bed area or you can leave it at the counter. However, the counter is unmanned throughout the late night to morning.

I loved the interior design and atmosphere. The layout is great and cozy. There enough amenities such as microwave, fridges and hot water, along with a reading corner and nice view of the street. The staff and very friendly and approachable. There's really no downside to staying here as it's convenient, near to the station and Ise Jingu. I like that there's a personal storage box at each bed, a small shelf and a light. You can tell they really thought of the travelers needs. There's a lock on the front door with a passcode for late entry.

Limited washroom/shower facilities. Very nice, just can be a bit of a wait if guest house is fully booked.

Unique layout! Cool dormitory setup with windows facing inside “courtyard”. Lovely wood architecture, very cozy.

Coffee had "run out". No soap in the toilet.

Well located. Close to the train station. Close to the mall. Close to the temple complex which is a lovely serene location of flower gardens, spring-fed ponds and ancient trees and of course the temples. We had a private bunkbed room which is on the ground floor and pleasant. I'm not into dorms anymore and from what I could see upstairs of the dormitory, it was definitely not my scene.

An extra top sheet between me and the covered quilt would have been nice. It appeared that the douvet covering the quilt is not changed between guests. The room, like all Japanese Hosels is kept quite warm, so a sheet would allow for a cooler sleep.

I loved the architechture of the place. Very quaint. The common space was well equipped for cooking. Being 5 mins walk from one of the main shrines is also handy. A 25 min bus ride to the other large shrine. The beds were comfy and the cubby holes roomy. The available washing machine and roof top drying was also appreciated.

Cozy, warm, and it was like a tree house which has the first floor where people do their work or interactions and the second where people cook and sleep after going up the wooden spiral stairs. There were lots of places to eat, drink, and even hot springs within 10 min walk. Amazing

Quiet, cozy guest house with many facilities. A bit cramped with larger numbers.

The guest room we stayed in was a bit too cramped. A booking for 3 adults landed us in a room with a bunkbed and a futon was provided for the third person to sleep on the floor. Not extremely uncomfortable, though tall people may struggle to sleep straight on the futon as there is not much floor space.

The gentleman at the service counter was very friendly and helpful. I had lost a personal belonging and needed to use a japanese landline phone to contact other hotels who would receive my personal belongings at a later date. The gentleman was kind enough to lend me the phone for as long as I needed and was able to assist in translating my questions to other japanese speaking people. The guest house is small and quiet, the upstairs kitchen has many ameneties, books, and board games. There is also a kettle, microwave, and freshly made breadrolls to purchase for only 100JPY, as well as free tea and water to fill up mugs provided by them.

It is a rather small space and it was hard to sleep due to other guests snoring, so maybe bring ear plugs. Also the conditioner bottle was empty.

A 5 minute walk from Iseshi Station. The staff, especially the staff member Mizuki, are incredibly kind and speak great English. The guest house has a small kitchen and free coffee, tea etc. There is also fresh bread for ¥100 that they get from a local bakery every night. If I ever come back to Ise I will definitely choose Guest House Kazami again!

Amazing guest house! Loved the interior, cosy, warm and clean. Homely feeling. Staff very helpful and kind. I was able to do video call for work as the shared living space was quite enough. Recommended a good curry place 5 min away, Jamise. Bed was comfy and spacious. Thank you for everything
