Staff are incredibly friendly, cool people. They hosted a delicious maguro party while my friend and I were staying!

    perfect

Even before my trip, I was inexplicably drawn to the Guest house Lala —and staying there for two nights turned out to be the best decision ever! As a solo traveler, I was warmly embraced by Saki, Howa, and Nagi, who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They kindly arranged transportation for me, shared their delicious homemade curry for dinner, and made sure I never felt alone. Though my planned marine activities were canceled due to weather, the unexpected free day led to one of the most magical afternoons with Howa-chan. It felt like the whole world belonged to just us! And then—surprise!—Saki hosted an impromptu tuna party that night, where everyone laughed, bonded, and created unforgettable memories. Looking back at my photos, I can still hear my own uncontrollable laughter echoing from that joy-filled evening. Thank you, everyone in Lala, for the warmth, spontaneity, and connection that made my stay so special. I’ll cherish these memories forever and can’t wait to return someday.

    Big family

The room wasn't exactly clean but had basic amenities, a bed, a table, a chair and even a closet (which was filled with someone else's stuff). The soundproofing is poor and if you're on the first floor you'll hear conversations in the common area. Otherwise, a great place.

It's a nice owner with a communal atmosphere. You can meet different people and the atmosphere is conducive to communication. They have a washer and dryer, a hair dryer and I was given a towel. Also you can use the kitchen to cook food. The location is convenient if you have your own transport.

    LaLa – it's cozy

The soundproofing of the house is poor and I would have chosen to stay on the 2nd floor but I got the 1st floor next to the common room. It can be noisy in the evening, but after 11 pm you can rest.

This was my first guesthouse in Japan and it was great. I spent two nights there. The house is comfortable and has a lot of things that might be useful, like a hair dryer, a dryer machine (for a fee), and they give you a towel. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can meet the people who live there and learn about the island. This shared house is away from the roads and shops but at the same time not too far to lost. The night is accompanied by the sounds of insect, birds and frogs, it is better than the noise of the road in the city center, so stay here.

Saki was an amazing host, she was so welcoming & accommodating even though we spoke little Japanese 🥹💞. Room was wonderful & house was cleanly ~ It was a little difficult to get around without a car, but it is definitely possible (via taxi, biking, walking, etc.)!

The location is good but a bit far from the bus station on foot.

Everything was clean and the host was very kind. She makes our trip easier and gave us tips and informations. The house is big, we can cook and enjoy with other people.
