Comfortable futon beds in a Japanese style room in a nice and clean house in the countryside with view of Mt. Fuji and nice hosts that welcomed us with tea. Good quality per price. The offer free transfers at 10 am.

Hard to reach from Kawaguchiko by public transport as the busses in the afternoon are rare. Late evening showers should be fast as the walls are thin and you hear everything.

The house was spotlessly clean and the location was simply perfect. We stayed in a traditional Japanese style room with futon bedding, which was both comfortable and cozy it gave us the feeling of experiencing Japan like the locals do. The host was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed. He even went out of his way to pick us up from Shin-Fuji Station and kindly drove us back when we checked out. Although the house has an amazing view of Mount Fuji, unfortunately the mountain was hidden by clouds during our visit. Still, the setting was so peaceful and beautiful that we didn’t feel we missed out. We rented bicycles and cycled to the Shiraito Falls, which was absolutely breathtaking. If you enjoy nature and want to spend some quiet time away from the crowds, I highly recommend renting a bike and exploring the area it was one of the highlights of our trip.

The couple who run this place were so incredibly kind and accommodating! They picked us up from Shin-Fuji station by car, took us to a convenience store before the house, and drove us to Fujinomiya station in the morning. They even had refreshments when we arrived at the house! The house was absolutely gorgeous and if the weather is clear has an incredible view of Fuji. The beds were comfortable and there's even a bathtub available for use. The AC was also American-cold which we really appreciated. Really couldn't recommend it more!

We had the most wonderful two nights at this guest house and truly recommend it - it’s an absolute hidden gem! The house is situated in the countryside with a perfect view of Mount Fuji. We booked both the room with a king-sized bed and Fuji view, as well as the superior room, since we were a family of four. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The shared bathroom is well organized by the hosts. There are two toilets, both equipped with traditional Japanese amenities. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Since the guest house is a bit outside Fujinomiya, they offer a shuttle service to pick you up at Shin-Fuji Station. On the way to the guest house, the host kindly offered to stop at a local supermarket so we could buy some supplies. When we arrived, we were greeted with homemade Thai jelly with cream and iced green tea - it was delicious. At check-in, we mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary. Later that day, we were pleasantly surprised with some cake to celebrate - such a thoughtful gesture that really touched us. They offer two types of breakfast: Western style or Japanese/Thai style. We chose the Japanese/Thai option and highly recommend it - it’s a unique experience, very tasty, costs 800 Yen per person, and is definitely worth it. If you plan to visit the Fuji area, we strongly recommend booking this accommodation.

A lovely accomodation with an amazing host family, who went to great lengths to make us feel welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed and more, starting with free pickup from the trainstation. The area has just enough to offer to spend a couple of days there (Waterfall, Lake, Temples, Milk Farms, Restaurants), especially if you're renting the bicycles. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Although the place was overall clean, our room had a lot of house dust, especially under the bed, that we noticed particularly because we're both allergic. However, I am sure that if we had told the hosts, they'd have been quick to do something about it, so it's partly our own fault I guess.

It is hard to find something we didn't like honestly. Great accommodation all around. The room was clean, comfortable, well equipped, even had Japanese pajamas ready on the bed. Water and glasses, incredible Mount Fuji view from the room or the balcony upstairs. The whole house was extremely clean. The common room had a giant TV with Netflix, YouTube and even Disney. All the people that we met inside the house were extremely friendly, starting from the staff to the guests. The bathrooms were extremely well equipped, especially for the ladies, with feminine hygiene products. The water pressure in the shower was unbelievable. They offered to take us from the station and back, even to visit the town free of charge. They even offered us some traditional Thai food as one of the owners is Thai. The room downstairs is traditional Japanese with tatami floors and everything. Electric bike rent service was available to explore the rural side of Japan and it was gorgeous. Everything was just amazing and if you choose to stay here, don't forget to write your name on the map and something nice in the memory notebook.

They were extra nice and sometimes wouldn't let us wash our dishes. That's it. They were just too nice.

The landlords are really nice. They made us feel like home. Brought us to the station. The room is very clean.

The location is a little far from the sightseeing spots but they lend us the bikes. So it was fun with a bike tour.

Loved the owners! They were super lovely and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. Scenery was really pretty. Great value for money.

Challenging for movement unless you have a car. The owners are awesome in the sense that they were happy to pick us up from the train and drop us off. However once you’re there, there’s nowhere close by unless you have a car and can self drive.
