Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeThe location is quite far from main attractions, and there are limited restaurant options for dinner. To get snacks, drinks from a nearby mart, or to try local delicacies, it was necessary to drive out, which was not always convenient.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, and the facilities were excellent and well-maintained. Breakfast and dinner were both outstanding, with a wide selection of fresh, delicious dishes prepared to a high standard. Overall, this hotel delivered comfort, great food, and heartfelt hospitality. We look forward to visiting again on our next trip and would highly recommend it to anyone.

LuxembourgThe booking on this site gave the option for an additional bed which was not possible for that room as per the hotel and we had to pay additional cost to upgrade to another room. This should be clearer during the booking stage.
Everything was amazing, superbe hotel with a view. Looking at Mount fuji during breakfast is an experience.

AustraliaReception staff seemed mildly uninterested. We checked in as a family of four in two separate rooms. They hadn’t thought to give us two adjoining rooms .
Beautifully located on the crest of a hill overlooking the track, with mountains on the other side where Mt Fuji can be seen on a clear day. Fabulous facilities. Loved the Onsen and Gym.

United StatesWe woke up at 6 AM to loud noise. It was loud booming sounds. Turns out it was military doing drills. With an 8 month old baby it was very disappointing to have disrupted sleep on our last night at the hotel. We wish there was a notice so we wouldn’t have been shaken up. We loved everything else. The matcha tiramisu is amaze balls
From amenities to food and staff, this place has it all

RomaniaI hated that we couldn’t stay longer and that is not that affordable
Everything was perfect. One you enter the hotel and you see that it starts with a car museum you then realize how cool your stay is going to be. We opted for a room with view over the Mt.Fuji. Rooms were impecable, clean with a very keen attention to detail. Breakfast was also very nice with a lot of choices

AustraliaThe staff and attitude at the gift store put a negative vibe to the overall experience. Guests should be able to access the viewing balcony. Museum access should be part of the hotel stay, not an additional charge. You would think that a major motorsport event like the Monoco F1 GP would have been accessible on the room television in a hotel of this concept and at a location such as this...???? Also you might acknowledge and consider the fact that Italian cuisine could possibly not be a suitable choice...
The concept and attention to design detail was excellent and unique. The natural beauty of the surrounding area is exceptional. The views of Mt Fuji 🗻 surreal when it was visible. The racetrack and museum are sensational.

United KingdomLocation is great for motor racing but not so much to explore Mount Fuji, which is an hour away.
The hotel is lovely, inside a motor museum. Good restaurants and spa. The rooms are spacious and well laid-out. Ciryl at the restaurant is very engaging and helpful. Breathtaking views of Mount Fuji.

AustraliaThe only drawback for us was getting to the hotel from Haneda airport. We arrived in Japan in the evening and it seemed the easiest option was the transfer which cost us north of $700. The other cheaper options such as trains and buses were either not available due to restricted operating times or too difficult due to multiple changes required.
We had a wonderful stay at Fuji Speedway Hotel. Perfectly situated next to the iconic Fuji Speedway F1 track, the hotel immediately impresses with its spectacular foyer showcasing a rare collection of famous race cars — a unique blend of art and museum that sets the tone for the entire stay. The hotel’s Italian restaurant offers a solid selection of dishes, including a breakfast buffet. A highlight was the Caprese salad, made with local tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and strawberries — absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, featuring three wide beds, a large bathroom with both a bath and a shower, a cozy lounge area with a coffee machine and large TV, a huge walk-in wardrobe, and a lovely balcony with breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. We especially loved relaxing with drinks on the rooftop terrace while watching test racing on the track, and strolling through the cherry blossom-lined path to the grandstand to watch the cars up close. Overall, it was a memorable and highly enjoyable experience — we would love to return!
