Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongSuper convenient location right at the entrance of covered arcade mall at kankou-doori. Easy to access by foot, car, or streetcar and tons of restaurants, cafes all around. Rooms a bit small but comfortable, clean, and good cost-performance. I liked the option to only have towels/trash changed out instead of whole-room cleaning. No dedicated parking, but there is a parking lot with hotel discount across the road only about 2 mins walk away, so not too inconvenient.

TaiwanThe room is clean and wide, and the hotel is nearby the tram station where we can take the tramway to the popular spots in Nagasaki. It's a good choice for you to take your family staying in this hotel for days while visiting Nagasaki.

DenmarkI have visited Forza several times before: The rooms are rather tiny (which is the normal Japanese standard). However, now additional armchair and table has been added into the rooms. So, you can barely walk around in the rooms without bumping into furniture.
Location is the best part of this hotel, no doubt. Breakfast is also very nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very convenient with a coin-laundry

Loved everything about it! The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything , with entrance from a big roofed shopping street. Spacious room. Clean. Comfortable bed, bathroom with tub. Would absolutely stay there again!! It's a short walking distance to several temples and shrines, to the Oura church and Glover garden, and not to forget the river with beautiful bridges, kois, birds and turtles, it is the perfect place for a morning stroll, taking the steps down to the water and walk along the river. The tramway has a stop right outside and it takes you everywhere worth going.

Czech RepublicThe hotel is perfectly located right at the entrance to Hanamachi, just across from a lively alley full of izakayas. The lobby is nicely designed and the rooms are comfortable, though there was a slight smell of dampness and mildew. We stayed just one night, but it was worth the money and I’d recommend it.

SingaporeNo dedicated parking space, have to park in public parking and its about 300m away. Difficult to spot hotel while driving as its located within the walking street
Location inside shopping stretch, lobby on 5th floor, ordered triple room for 3, room size is reasonable, wash basin and bath is separate from toilet so its more efficient to use for 3 persons in room. Breakfast spread is good and sufficient.

CanadaSlow check-in, no hot-spring (for the price it would be nice to help justify the price), deceitful booking practice (*see below) I rarely write negative reviews, as I prefer to focus on positive experiences, but my recent stay at Forza left me deeply frustrated, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Upon arrival, we faced an excessively long check-in process, lasting over an hour, due to a misleading booking issue regarding the “breakfast included” package we paid for. My family of four, including two children, opted to pay over $200 extra for a three-night stay to ensure breakfast was included, as advertised on Booking.com. However, there was no clear stipulation in the booking details indicating that this package excluded our two young children. To our dismay, the hotel staff spent over an hour researching whether our kids qualified for the breakfast we believed we had already paid for. Ultimately, they charged us an additional $60 for our two children’s breakfasts over the three days. This was particularly upsetting, as we could have dined at nearby restaurants like Gusto or Royal Host for less as an entire family for all three nights. The breakfast itself was satisfactory, but the deceitful misrepresentation of the “breakfast included” policy, which we paid a premium for, left us feeling misled and undervalued as guests. Arriving tired from our journey, the hour-long wait for a resolution, only to be hit with unexpected charges, set a negative tone for our entire stay. This experience overshadowed any positives and left me regretting my decision to book here. Had I known the breakfast policy excluded our children, I would have chosen another hotel or used a different booking site rather than Booking.com. I hope Forza and Booking.com address these misleading practices to prevent other families from facing similar frustrations. They likely need a lawsuit or two to smarten them up.
