A hostel layout that I really loved. I even got to play piano with the staff as I visited on a jazz jam night. The best part is that they gave me a video of the jam session.

I didn't like the fact that showers are not on the same floor as the rooms. You have to take the lift to go to the showers. Also I didn't like having to pay a 10,000¥ deposit. Refunded when you leave but takes few days to be on your account. So that's quite a bit of money you lose for a few days...

Great hostel, recently refurbished, comfortable. I appreciated the quietness in the dormitory, even though it seems there were not many people, the partitions between each bed are well insulated compared to other hostels so no issue with snoring people. Location is very good, close to Dotonbori, American Village. If you like music there is a living room with instruments near the reception.

Osaka is a maze of lanes and streets, it is easy to walk out the door and get lost but the hostel being on the corner means you can spot it more easily.

This hostel was incredible you have to stay here if coming to Osaka it's the perfect escape from the busy city the musical theme is so real and enjoyable. Relax in the lobby and welcome some great socialising.

I wish you give out 2 towels (hair and body), and washing clothes is a bit too expensive compared to other hostels in osaka

One of the Best Hostels I’ve Ever Stayed At – A Hidden Gem in Osaka I can’t recommend this hostel enough – it’s easily one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. The sleeping arrangement is perfect: you get your own capsule-style bed in a shared dorm, which gives you privacy and quiet even though you're sharing the room with others. I honestly didn’t hear a sound at night, which made for some great nights of sleep! The cleanliness of the entire place is top-notch. Everything—from the dorms to the bathrooms and common areas—is spotless and well-maintained. But the real highlight of this hostel is the common room. It’s not just a place to hang out—it's a creative space filled with musical instruments. Guests are welcome to play, and the hostel even organizes jam sessions, which are such a fun and unique way to connect with other travelers. What made it even more special was that the owner, Kazu, and his father joined in the music-making. It created such a warm, communal vibe. Kazu himself is an incredible host—super friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat. He’ll help you with anything you need and has great recommendations for local restaurants that are just a short walk away. If you're visiting Osaka and looking for a place that combines comfort, cleanliness, and community, this is the hostel to book. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town

It would be even better if complimentary luggage storage is available on the day of check-in & check out. I also wished the drinking water dispenser is available 24/7.

Kazu (son), Kaz (father), and Yoko were all warm and welcoming, and lovely to talk with and get to know. They’ve established a nice place for rest, refuge, creativity and community. Their recommendations led me to some places I wouldn’t have seen otherwise known about e.g. GLION Car Museum and Nakanoshima Rose Garden and therefore changed the course of my trip all for the better. It is conveniently located and yet on a quiet side street—I did a ton of exploring on foot and by the nearby subway. So glad I found this place and its excellent people. Capsule hotels aren’t for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed Feel Osaka Yu as my Osaka home, and I slept very well there. 😴. ありがとうございます

What's not to like about this place? The staff is exceptionally friendly, the dorm bed and facilities are super clean and very, very comfy! The location is optimal, too. You absolutely get your money's worth. All in all, I highly recommend this place and am glad for the beautiful stay there! Thank you Kaz & team <3

Kaz and his father are exceptional hosts as always; happy to help with any queries or suggestions. Helped me book an appointment at a hair salon as well as getting us a table at a local place. Location is great for shopping and the metro is close enough to get to anywhere else you need to.

The capsule-like rooms did run a bit hot (not the actual large room itself). They have universal outlets in them, so I would suggest bringing a small plug-in fan to help.

The facilities were clean and staff were friendly. I enjoyed staying here.

Kas-son was great!!! Helped me find my rent-a-car place near the airport!!! I was almost going all the way to airport then shuttle. Saved me 500 yen and a hour of time!!!

So I had 2 minor problems : First, I booked a "female only" capsule by inadvertance, and they found a solution for me by staying in a private room instead, with overcharge. Second, there was one argument between a guest and a staff member and I had to intervene to calm things down. Aparently in Japan if you make a mistake, you shouldn't find excuses and just ask for forgiveness instead, otherwise it will make them angry.

Comfortable capsules, with bathrooms in the same room, the showers downstairs were okay. The security measures were impressive with facial recognition technology. The lobby was nice with all the instruments, really helped bringing people together in what was my most sociable experience in hostels in Japan so far !

They charge 800 yen to keep your luggage, even if you arrive very close to check in time. You cannot use the lounge after check out and there is a 10,000 yen deposit. If you are checking out before 9am you have to let them know in advance.

The place was well located and clean. The pods are comfy and have everything needed, towels are provided and there is an elevator to navigate between floors.
