Nothing, it is exactly what we were hoping for

Quiet, secluded getaway. My family rented both tents so we had the entire site to ourselves. The host was wonderful, being both attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommend for an Ishigaki retreat. We went into town several times as well so it is well situated

Very well equipped and stylisch glamping, incl. air conditioning! It’s really jungle feeling as you stay in the forest. Wonderful!!! Walking to a nice beach is possible. Waterfall near by. Very lovely owning family who offer help in any situation!!!

It was a great adventure with Taka family, our journey in Ishigaki wouldn’t have been the same without staying there.

A novel place to spend a night or two in the forest.

The beds are inflatable and thus not very comfortable. One of the beds kept deflating during our stay. We had some hard rainfall during our stay which wet most of the kitchen area. I might recommend a backing board behind the kitchen to prevent this in the future? The pathways also become very muddy and this mud is carried all over your raised platform making it very difficult to keep your living space tidy. It might be worth considering some walkways for the track to the bathroom? Maybe even a doormat to clean your shoes at your campsite. Finally it might be worth considering a little roof at the bathroom area to prevent your shoes from raining wet when left outside? The owners are extremely kind and helpful, but we had to ask for our drinking water, ice packs and towels to be changed seeing as we were staying longer. I would have hoped that drinking water and ice packs would be checked and changed daily (without needing to ask). Towels are changed every 3 days during longer stays, but we still needed to remind the owners to bring them over. We spent four nights here which was a bit too long. I would recommend this for shorter stays as the campsite and tent do get quite dirty during longer stays. A rental car is a MUST as it is quite far from a beach or places to eat.

The property was situated in a beautiful part of the forest close to a stream and waterfall. It was a privilege to hear the sounds of the forest during our stay and see some of the resident fauna.

Taka was very nice, he took care of everything we needed, even though we asked for a few extras beyond the basic service. We had a wonderful experience and we won’t forget this place!
