Romey and his wife are very nice. They took us to the station and recommended us some good restaurants. They are interesting. We talked a lot at night. We can see the sea through the window of the room. I love swimming in the sea and I really enough this trip.

The wifi in my daughter’s room had a bit of a weak signal, but it was not a big problem

Romey and his wife greeted us warmly when we arrived and showed us the nice modern rooms and all facilities. The cute little three room hotel is quite modern and well equipped. Downstairs is a bar and communal area which is accessible 24hrs. I enjoyed Romey’s draft beer and chatting with him, his wife and the other guests. The location is beside the beach and quite quiet, but easy to walk into the nearby small shopping area. There is a local rail station to access Shizuoka itself. We had a great meal of sashimi in a small restaurant next to the harbour. Romey was extremely helpful for the few days we were staying. It was a lovely place and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see a different side of Japanese life to the usual tourist destinations

At first we saw some flaws… very quickly we didn’t see anything else than charm and appreciation.

We liked the closeness with the sea, the great views from the room window and balcony. The walks along the seafront. Quiet, nature and clean air. The welcome full of kindness and friendliness of the owners. The owners are beautiful people who make all the difference in that place!

Nice view from the room. Owner and his wife is very helpful. They have all the info for the area. Nice restaurant and cafe in walking distance. Laundry machine is available. Bed frame can be improved, a bit noisy when turn. One pillow for each bed maybe not enough, two is better.

Romey and his wife are incredibly kind and friendly people. We felt like we were visiting distant relatives. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. - I'm not sure it was worth the price to me. I think I might've preferred to find a place with a private toilet and shower for that price, but I did have fun chatting with the hosts and other guests.

- The staff were so wonderful: welcoming, friendly, conversational, and ended up driving me to the super market when I arrived and to the train station when I checked out - It was fun to meet other people travelling - The balcony was peaceful
