The room was spacious and very luxurious for the price. The shower room with bathtub was very comfortable. Late check-in was very easily done at a kiosk. Located conveniently close to Yamagata station.

The hotel is lovely and modern, very nice bathrooms. It is located very near the station and the central area of the city. Very conveniently there's a 7 eleven downstairs and the beef is spectacular in the restaurant below.

Location was extremely convenient to the Yamagata train station, which allowed us to easily reach the Risshakuji temple (Yamadera) while it was relatively cool in the morning, and still return to the hotel in time for checkout 😄.

We stayed here partially because of the laundry facilities. These were busy so it took longer than anticipated but nevertheless these were helpful. We rented a car so it was very convenient to have on-site parking (which uses an interesting car-elevator system). It was also useful to be near the train station because of the many easy restaurant options it provided.

The staff was so kind and helpful. I had made a mistake in my reservation. Without noticing, I selected a room in the smoking area, the staff was so kind to accommodate us in a non smoking room. Everything was great!

Breakfast was very very poor. The Western breakfast was one of the worst I have ever eaten in Japan over 5 weeks and the Japanese breakfast looks much better than it is. The only decent thing at breakfast was the coffee. Bizarre entry system into the breakfast. Better off getting breakfast from the excellent outlets at the station.

Great hotel for the money particularly location. Close to the station and walking distance to the castle grounds. A well designed room. Pleasant helpful staff. One of the best business hotels I have stayed in. If I exclude the awful breakfast I would rate this hotel as a 10.

Above my expectations for a business hotel. Very central, lots of amenities and a large bathroom with bathtub and rain shower. I had a top floor room and had a great view of the mountains. Great sleep and very happy about my stay.

The hotel room is really spacious and not forgetting to mention the spacious toilet space too. Bed is comfortable as well. Importantly, the facility is new.

Front desk personnel were friendly and courteous. They held our bags before check in and answered our questions. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. The bathroom was roomy with a separate rain shower and clean, shiny tub for soaking. We enjoyed the western style breakfast set in the restaurant below. Close to the Yamagata Train station (easily walkable)and a 7-11 convenience store is accessible through the first floor (street level) of the hotel. The hotel lobby and check in is on the 3rd floor.

Self check-in system a bit long winded and no real advantage over traditional reception desk, more of a gimmick than a benefit to the customer.
