Breakfast was modest but adequate and well priced. The hotel is very well located, parking was easy, and the room spacious and tidy.Being above a convenience store was a plus.

There was no clear signage to the hotel parking.

The location was conveniently located near the train station and mall. There was a convenience stall on the ground floor and a pharmacy shop next to it.

Staff were so friendly and accomplished. Most staff spoke English which made it easy to check in. Bed was bigger than most we had come across in Japan.

The staff responsible for a parking couldn't talk much in English, so sometimes it was diifult to understand specifics of leaving the car on automatic, multi-story parking lot.

The hotel was in the center of Hamamatsu. The staff was friendly. Room clean and comfortable

They changed the chair to a smaller and more comfortable one. I'm very pleased, I extended the stay. They also responded to my request for a high floor and a nice view room.

Carpark was full when we arrived so we had to park at public carpark. Took us a while to find the multi-storey one...the ones at street level are full as well (quite busy due to the many restaurants).

Good location. Near restaurants. Only problem is that we arrived late (9pm) so have to hunt for those that close late.

One small particular point; the narrow gap between the bathtub and the bathroom wall should be sealed to prevent water from intruding I guess.

Typical but comfortable business hotel within short walking distance from JR/Enshu Railway stations. Bought breakfast at a convenience store on the ground floor, open 24/7.

Service was oké. Only disadvantage was the fact that I had to sleep in a smoking room, because of none availability of non-smoking rooms.

More than 10 years that I regularly stay at Daiwa Hamamatsu everytime I travel for work; always good and convenient; I love the traditional breakfast served at the restaurant on 1F

No stairs available to guest rooms, only elevator, which often took a while and always stopped at the second floor (reception) regardless of whether anyone was getting on or off. Room not enormous but you get what you pay for.

Unfair to criticise given the price. The room was a little small and there was the occasional rumble of local trains but it did not disturb our sleep or our stay. The breakfast was too good for us to eat lunch which we had to skip.

Extremely well designed room which though small was comfortable and scrupulously clean. Large comfortable bed with good lighting and storage. Excellent desk working area and chair as well as a usable corner seating and table. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast on all three days. It was equal or better than those provided by the more expensive hotels we had stayed in. Bottled water provided daily. Washing machines, microwaves and ice machines conveniently located. Excellent location around the corner from the station and on the main street. Check out was automated and self explanatory. Staff were friendly and helpful. Internet was fast. All of this at an excellent price. Clearly the management of the hotel chain have given considerable thought and care to what guests want. I write this review staying at a more expensive non Daiwa Roynet hotel- a decision I regret.

I have nothing bad to say in particular, I think it matched the expectations.

It's well located, you have all shops and restaurants nearby. The train station is super close, you can even get the shinkansen there. It's a simple room for who is not going to spend a lot of time in it. It does the job quite well.
