How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It felt a little dated and there was no clock in the room.
It was very clean and well kept. The location is very close to the train station and easy to get around.

Room was really small and cramped. Bathroom was small too. Generally in need of refurbishment. Just a place to sleep for the night, not really for enjoying the room.
Location was great, very close to airport. Free transfer to airport was helpful, but to transfer from airport. Free coffee in the lobby.

The hotel is quite old.
Shuttle bus to New Chitose airport is very convenient. Izakaya restuarant on the ground floor vibe is good.

Toilet was abit small
I like because of the location and extra things can be taken from the admission like the face mask and other stuff.

The hotel pillows are too flat.
The location is fantastic, and the airport shuttle service is excellent! The staff at the reception are cute, friendly, and welcoming! How thoughtful the manager even walk us to the door! The driver of shuttle bus is very energetic. There’s an Aeon mall and a Lawson convenience store nearby. I really love how staying at Chitose makes me feel right at home.

Airport shuttle was great. Lots of little extras from the hotel. Beds were comfy. Located right opposite some good department stores for last minute shopping.

Airport shuttle is only in the morning till 10 am. After that, you’re on your own

The bathroom is quite small but it's not an isiue for us
We stayed here coz this hotel provides free shuttle to the airport since we need to catch the morning flight. The staffs are friendly too

The hotel is near at the train station also there two convenient store located which is lawson and seven eleven. You can also go visit the aeon mall which is a 5-10 mins walk depend on you walking pace 😊

Because located on the main road, you will hear some exhaust noises of cars, motorcycles.
Staff can speak and understand English well. She tried to help us to find alternative parking and even want to walk is the there. Hotel has a quite larger room compared to hotel near the airport.

The shuttle bus driver did not help with the luggage at all. For some reason, this driver did not even open the back door of the shuttle for people to put their luggage. Other people only have small bags, but I do have one large check in bag. It is so awkward to bring it with me since it blocks aisle.
It’s basically you got what you paid. The facility is clean and the staff is nice.

Detergent isn't included when using coin laundry machine. Either buy your own or buy a sachet at the front office for 50yen. Also, room price dropped few days before check-in. Couldn't cancel existing booking since free cancelation has already passed.
Comfortably close to JR Chitose and Aeon Town Mall. Cheap coin laundry machine. Free airport transfer. Free coffee on the ground floor. Friendly and accommodating front staff.

We’ll priced, easy to get to from airport by train (only two stops) . Excellent service from desk staff. Room and bathroom were very small but clean and tidy and more than adequate for one person for one night. Free airport shuttle in the morning was a bonus.

Front desk forgot my request to extend my stay and I was left without a room. Very unpleasant experience : ( There were small bugs walking all around the shower room (not sure what type exactly). Felt like cleaning was lacking in some areas. The shower area is too small. Bed mattress felt a bit tilted so my lower back hurt a little. The room was small but I guess it is fair for the price.
Location is great! A short walk to the station. Breakfast starts early and is good. The staff is kind too.
